I’ve been paying taxes since the mid sixties. I’ve never been out of work for more than a week or so, until now. I was laid off one year ago almost to the day. I can’t find a job that doesn’t include fast food service or telemarketing. My local job service posted 11 positions for hire last month.
I am a ward of the state and not happy with that.
