Political Wire:

A new Public Policy Polling survey in Connecticut finds Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-CT) with a dismal 25% approval rating while 67% give him bad marks.

Key finding: President Obama’s approval rating with Connecticut Republicans is higher than Lieberman’s with the state’s Democrats.

In addition, Lieberman “managed to antagonize both sides with his actions during the health care debate. Among voters who support the health care bill 87% disapprove of how Lieberman handled it with only 10% supporting it. But by voting for the final product after getting it watered down he also managed to earn the unhappiness of constituents opposed to the bill, 52% of whom say they disapprove of what Lieberman did to 33% in support.”

“Overall just 19% of voters in the state say they like what Lieberman did on the issue with 68% opposed.”

Now let’s see if they will vote the little bum out of office in a few years… I am betting they won’t.

A lot of politicians are going to learn the meaning, that a lot of Americans have already learned, of this Ayn Rand quote:

“There is Right, there is wrong, and there is evil in the middle”

there is no better option then Liberman in CT.

Connecticut is a cesspool of liberalism…a heaping pile of maggots eating away at our nation

What is Connecticut’s motto? What is on their license plates?

    The Constitution State

Yeah, my ass … more like The Confusion State. CT as a whole lost sight of the Constitution years ago.

There are only two things I would travel into CT for … Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods (and they are on Indian reservations). Sorry if I offend any conservatives in CT (that is if there are any), you guys are surrounded by idiots. But take heart, I am also surrounded by idiots in another blue state to the south … The Garden State (yeah, that motto is another joke but don’t get me started). Although there is a “chance” with Christie coming into office. Sad thing is that I wouldn’t be surprised if Christie turns out to be just another weasel politian, more on the take than looking out for the people’s freedom, liberties and expressed concerns (like every other NJ weasel governor since I’ve been alive).

Ok rant over. Good luck CT!

If you think CT and NJ are bad, try living in MD. O’Malley and the democrats drove out 1/3 of the “millionaires” with a tax hike aimed directly at them. Guess what? They voted with their feet and took residency in tax friendly states. The result? Revenues expected from this group FELL dramatically. This is also NOT a gun friendly state, so crime is up. The real victims are the poor people in the population centers like Baltimore and Prince George’s county. But the good news for them is that the criminals are moving to the wealthier suburbs where crime is increasing. The bad news for the criminals is that the population in these areas is ARMED.

At first Lieberman was against the health care bill only to fall in line and vote for it in the end. He angered the left when he was against it and the right when he voted for it.

Leiberman is finding the old adage about not changing horses in mid-stream to be true. He would have been much better shape to have not voted for that misnomer health care.

  • richwill

We do have an federally funded abortion, it is called the healthcare bill.

You have to give the guy some credit:

Sorry, I just can’t think of anything.
