Only 39% Of Americans Would Vote To Re-Elect Obama

National Journalism:

A year into his tenure, a majority of Americans would already vote against Pres. Obama if the ’12 elections were held today, according to a new survey.

The Allstate/National Journal Heartland Monitor poll shows 50% say they would probably or definitely vote for someone else. Fully 37% say they would definitely cast a ballot against Obama. Meanwhile, just 39% would vote to re-elect the pres. to a 2nd term, and only 23% say they definitely would do so.

Obama’s first year in office has been marked by an unemployment rate that surged to 10%, an increased commitment of troops to Afghanistan and a health care battle that has taken a serious political toll on the WH.

Obama’s approval rating is down to 47%, the poll showed, a 14-point drop since the April survey. 45% disapprove, up 17 points from April. Only 41% say they trust Obama more than Congressional GOPers, while 33% pick the GOP over the WH. That 8-point gap is down from a 21-point edge Obama sported as recently as Sept.

Just 34% say the country is moving in the right direction, down 13 points since April, and 55% say it is off on the wrong track, up 13 points over the same period.

But as GOPers focus on taxes and spending, that message seems to be causing Obama the most harm. Among those who believe Obama’s policies have moved the country in the wrong direction, 45% cite spending and government regulation as a top cause for their opposition.

Meanwhile, those who think Obama’s policies are moving the country down the right track largely cite long-term benefits of his initiatives.

In the meantime, health care legislation is by no means popular, but a majority of Americans don’t oppose the legislation yet. 44% said they support the legislation under consideration, down 5 points from the last poll in Sept., while 46% oppose it.

The poll, conducted by Financial Dynamics, surveyed 1,200 adults between Jan. 3-7 for a margin of error of +/- 2.8%.

I can’t help at this juncture but wonder about the good things that may have have happened in our Country if our “first black President” had been an American human being instead of a leftist apparachik and pretender to the throne of the world. For those who cared to look, his record was very clear before he ever got off the ground.

“39% of Americans would again vote for Obama.”

“39% of Americans believe 9/11 was an inside job.”

    Hmmmmmmmm.

Shit! We still have a 39% stupidity factor here? No way. That must be the percentage of wannabe-Afrikkans voting in America. As already shown, their patriotism is only skin deep.

  • rosie

    Roger that @ 10:51

  • bacongreasenapalm

Just goes to show that my theory: 39% of Americans are fucking stupid, is 100% correct.

Doesnt really matter when 1,000% of ACORNS registered voters are fraudulent

  • Sully

39% is still about 5% high for a hard core Prog.
About 20% of those that voted fell for the white guilt/centrist bullshit.

He’ll bottom out at ~33% disapproval this year.

It’s my guess that when the numbers get low enough, one of two things will happen.Hopefully, the citizenship issue will resurface and gain new momentum, – OR – The White House ALREADY has a crisis/solution waiting in the wings for implementation. The crisis will be “solved” by the one, sending his poll numbers back(inflated of course) through the roof due to a willing and complicit media and a once again adoring public.

Speculative I know, but the world for most people revolves around American Idol. ‘Nuff said

So, how long should we give “elections” a chance, if most people just love free shit and know more about American Idol than they do about our Constitution? I think that voting, therefore, has failed to some degree. The founding fathers did not rely on people voting for them, they took up the “Strugle”… I guess a Civil Strife is therefore, not such a bad idea,….The only crisis I see here that we are letting this A-hole president keep tweaking with our country until elections don’t mean shit, just like they don’t mean shit in Venezuela, Cuba, Iran…..We keep hoping for fall 2010 and then onto 2012 but this M-Fucker is moving way too fast. He’s hoping to still be in power for 3 months, and then 4 and the 5, slowly eroding the effect of free elections, and no one is stopping, not one general with balls……

I took a look at Financial Dynamics, who conducted the poll on the health care legislation, (2nd to last paragraph).

Given Financial Dynamics lack of presence and or transparency online, I can’t believe their polling numbers that 44% of Americans support Obama care.

Common sense tells me their poll is B.S., which for me anyways, casts doubt on the entire article. Am I correct? Only time will tell.

    Anyways… :gun: :gun:

Must be the 39% who are on the govmint dole. We demands free shit and Obama will git it for us.

Difficult to wrap your head around that there are so many dumbasses in this country. Over 100 million people and we can thank libtard policies for all of it.

  • Sully

The only way ‘voting has failed’ us is that ~50% don’t do it.

  • libertarian

    39% :?:
That doesn’t sound like “a good, solid B+” to me.
He must be grading on one heckuva curve
