Palin And McCain, Part 2

CNN:

Washington (CNN) – As Sen. John McCain readies for a potential primary challenge from the right this fall, the Arizona Republican is playing his trump card.

Sarah Palin, McCain’s former running mate and perhaps the most powerful brand in Republican politics, will stump for McCain in Arizona on March 26 and 27, a Palin adviser told CNN. The presence of Palin – and the considerable crowds and media attention she will draw – might give pause to J.D. Hayworth, the former Republican congressman and radio host who opposes McCain’s position on illegal immigration and is mulling a Senate run of his own.

The former Alaska governor will also hit the campaign trail in the coming month for two conservative heroes – Texas Gov. Rick Perry and Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann.

Palin has already endorsed Perry in his primary fight against Texas Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison; she will appear with the governor in Houston on Feb. 7.

Palin and Bachmann, meanwhile, will team up on April 7 in Minnesota.

I saw this earlier. NO EFFIN WAY MCAIN!!!

I’d go Palin/Baughman or even better Baughman/Palin if Palin is going to play footsies with yet another Republican loser. Especially this bigtime jackass.

  • DevilDOC

She should distance herself from McShame….arrrgghhhh!!! What are you doing Sara!!!!!!!!

    • Ivan the Kafir

That was exactly my reaction! McCain is as much an albatross to the Republicans as Obama is for the Dems.

    • serfer62

Gov Palin did the honorable thing…something that McNasty didn’t do when he failed to support his choice of VP but instead backed his failed campagein crew.
      .
Sent money to JD in AZ and screw that nasty POS McAss

      LOL, worked like kryptonite.

    • Phil Byler

The only thing I will write here is that the scene of McCain and Palin together should not trigger the comments here, but rather trigger two thoughts: (1) Palin genuinely respects McCain; and (2) we would have been far, far better off with a McCain-Palin Administration instead of Obama-Biden.

For a brief moment I found myself thinking ‘hey, he’s right’. Then I remembered that God has a plan for everything. I’m in no position to second-guess Him.

As a Christian I’ve had to balance Romans 13 against the reflexive action to vomit every time I see Bambi’s face on television or hear him referred to as Pres.

Then I think to myself… ‘dude, it took Carter to get Reagan’.

If it’s His will, He could make ‘Bambi our first three year lame duck. And in prayer I’ll ask Him to do just that.

    • March

      Okay, what is going on?

I can post anything here except when I type the letters G, o and d together at once.

    • mike3481

      You mean like this? God

    • March

Well, let me tell you something. I’ve posted at least 10-12 times in the last couple of days and twice I tried to respond in this thread Byler with reference to God and twice it hasn’t shown up.

    • Phil Byler

Hey March (and others posting negative comments about McCain): You like Scott Brown? He was a McCain delegate from Massachusetts to the Republican National Convention in September 2008. Scott Brown saluted McCain in Brown’s victory speech as someone who met with Brown months ago and encouraged him in his run for the Senate seat. The first Senator with whom Scott Brown met today was McCain.

  • martdod

Sarah Palin “Going Rogue” ya right.

  • SgtJenz

Somebody needs to have a real heart to heart talk with Sarah. She’s a woman of the people and the people are gonna say no to McCain. No-way-McShame should just retire and save us all a lot of trouble.

    • SgtJenz

I think McCain is in real fear of losing his seat so is using Sarah to bolster his failing political future. Using Palin once again all for the sake of political expediency is despicable. Sarah should be intelligent enough to know that. After the failed presidential run I am surprised she would even consider it.

    WTF Sarah?

I guess we never knew you.

  • cold soldier

Old man, please go sit down and take the blue pill

  • thrasymakhos

Palin and Bachmann! On the same stage!?! Classy Ladies both. Is there any way they could debate say Janet Incompetano and Pelosi?

    • http://militias.ning.com/ rosie

I dunno. But I’ll bet they could beat their asses!

  • http://none WWTD

This is a battle that Palin should stay home on. Hayworth is a viable candidate, and has no history of RINO sin drome. Not to insult Palin fans, but I don’t get it. On the other hand, Bachmann is smart and tuff.

    • March

      I hear you, man.

But it’s still awesome that Brown will now sit in “Ted Kennedy’s seat”. LOL

    • March

Wrong spot… this should have been under Sullly’s response.

  • Sully

Hey don’t leave me out there March and WWTD!

Still, it’s discomforting to see folks here that share the Prog affinity for the circular firing squad.

Many whom also were pulling for the pro-choice Scott Brown.
    Hmmmm……

    • http://none WWTD

Understand the point. Now is the time to push the debate. Just saying.

    • March

Whatever his stance it’s a lot closer to conservative than Coakley’s.

I seem to remember him being in favor in cases of rape and incest.

I couldn’t imagine demanding that my wife or daughter submit to either of the above.

    • Sully

Nah…. you’re gonna find Brown to be center-right. Much like McCain. Whom Brown praised in his speech last night BTW.
Keep running purity rather than reality tests though. That worked real well in the 90′s.
      Just saying.

  • solomonpal

I been telling you guys for months now.Pallin was a good Gov here in AK and is a good woman but not the best for the national stage. Here is some more proof. Bachman now…that’s the real deal.

  • ji

    JD is a true conservative.
JD should ask Palin to campaign for him.

    • March

      JD rocks!

Don’t know how you lose to a dip-wad like Harry Mitchell, though.

Good thing the political winds might sweep out RINOs, too.

  • vivi libero o muori

I actually respect Palin for this. We all know, as does Palin, that Mc Lame is a RINO, but he decided to bring her into the national limelight. Had he not done that, we would not have the Conservative Powerhouse that is Sarah Palin. She is being an honorable politician. She respects who gave her her step up. I knew who she was, from interviews I saw in American Rifleman and other magazines. But, without Mc Lame, we’d have never had her on the National circuit. She owes him more than he owes us. So give it a fucking rest. She’s not supporting his Pres run, she’s supporting his chance to stay in AZ. that’s it.

    • trapper

dittos vivi!!! i can’t stand mclame but this is the right thing to do. even tho he could have clamped down on his people but he didn’t! she has CLASS

    • Carry On

Vivi, your right on. She is doing what he ask her to do. The real deal in this race is a follow by the name of Jim Deakin, He just won the presink straw vote over everyone in Maricopa county. He is self funding his campaign but working like a dog to get his name out there. Jim is a vet, consevative, a small business man, a family guy and just the kind of person we need to take back this country.

  • mark gibbons

go hayworth. as far as abortion goes i wish someone would have aborted all the illegals i have to compete for work against.

    • Bobby E

A lot better it would be for all liberals to abort themselves out of existence. Then again, I guess that’s why Haiti is the new Dem vote factory.

  • ground wizard

loyalty to Mccain, she will also be campaigning(? spellcheck) for Rick Perry and someone else too. i see this as just politics. she’s not stupid.
