The military exists and is for the service of those who do not serve. Your mightier than thou attitude is exactly the state of mind that the military stands AGAINST. the fact that I have taken my enjoyment of learning new things from the service to civilian life must really grind you. Rip on me all you want. Learning numerous skills is the trade mark of a good Marine, Green Beret, Ranger, Recon, SEAL, and almost every other service member past and present.

I honor those who served before me to the present day, and the future.

I respect the late veteran for his service, and as I had posted numerous times on other threads, I do not respect most of what he did as a politician, and due to that, feel he lost the right to be called a former Marine. That still does not take away what he did in uniform.
