Impeach Obama Billboard Stirs Up Wisconsin

Feb 13, 2010 36 Comments ›› Pat Dollard

Fox 11:

OSHKOSH – A controversial billboard along Highway 41 is catching people’s attention. It calls for President Obama to be removed from office.

The spot, near the Oshkosh Correctional Institute, is also becoming a popular spot for motorists to pull over and snap a picture.

“The sign kind of struck me as being very forceful. I was driving up to Green Bay this morning and saw it. It just surprised me that a sign like that would be out there, that blatant,” said Gary Fox, of Waukesha.

Fox said he agrees with the ‘Impeach Obama’ billboard. The tagline is: ‘America’s small businesses are failing, help us spread the message.’

“I just think what Obama is doing and the whole administration and the Democratic Congress is just bad for business when you look at the deficits and everything they’re doing,” said Fox.

Jones Sign Company said the billboard went up on Thursday.
So, who paid for it?

FOX 11 went looking and it turns out it wasn’t a group of small business owners. It was Tom Wroblewski, an attorney in Menasha.

When we stopped at his office, he told us he isn’t ready to talk about it. Democrats, on the other hand, are ready to talk.

“I don’t know what’s impeachable about having a bad opinion about the President. I know a lot of people that would have impeached the last one,” said Jef Hall, the chairman of the Winnebago County Democratic Party.

Hall argues President Obama’s economic policies are helping small businesses.

“I can point to, here in Winnebago County, several businesses that are receiving contracts because of the stimulus plan,” said Hall.

Both sides say the sign does grab your attention; they just disagree on whether it serves any purpose.

Those who want to take a look will have some time. The billboard will be up for at least six months, at a cost of $1,000 a month.

Wow, talk about putting your money where your mouth is.

While Obama still has to commit an identifiable impeachable offense, yeah I know, he sucks, at least the guy is speaking his mind.

    • Bobby E

To my mind there have been identifiable offenses committed for impeachment. Problem is we have two legislative bodies equally complicit and an electorate equally ignorant.

    • EL GONZO

Speaking his mind? Sure, he has pissed and crapped on our Constitution from day one. He should have been tried for treason already but not one General has the balls to call him for what he is…. An enemy of the state. If there was a president eligible for impeachment this is it TerryTate….wake up dude or dudette or what ever you are. Obongo needs to go…..

    • TerryTate

      El Gonzo,

I wasn’t referring to Obama speaking his mind, I was referring to the lawyer speaking his mind by putting up his money and having the guts to stand behind his beliefs enough to put up the billboard.

That’s why I said “putting your money where your mouth is”.

Sorry if you misunderstood, I guess I didn’t say it very clearly.

    • TerryTate

      And Gonzo,

      I’m awake bud.

The message may have been written hastily, but sometimes meanings can be lost through the internet, so just relax alright.

  • ji

i am going to write the attorney a letter of gratitude.

    • richwill

This sounds like an excellent idea. Legally, Hussein, may not be impeachable, but what he is doing to the country is certainly morally wrong. I know it is a fine point, but I do not believe he is upholding his oath of office inregards to the constitution. Not an attorney, so I am not versed in the fine pringt of the argument. I would like to see an end to this administration and an end to the Pelosi/Reid cabal.

    • Tim Roesch

Bribery…Bribery is what brings together, today.

If it could be proven that Obama and ACORN had a, shall we say, financial relationship would that not be akin to Bribery?

Everyone talks about the Soros/Obama connection: Maybe it’s time that ‘connection’ is made more concrete.

I’m just saying; Impeachment might be closer than you think ESPECIALLY if Obama continues to alienate the very people that put him into office. Things Bush may have received a wink and a nod for might hit Obama like a lead balloon…

  • mike3481

Jef Hall, the chairman of the Winnebago County Democratic Party is a useful idiot.

Does Jeffy believe that the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh Air Show/Fly-in organizers/participants and spectators are also 1960′s Radicals/Marxists who want to destroy America and therefore are as stupid as he is? I think not.

I’m not sure of the exact numbers, but if the Oshkosh Air Show/Fly-in moves to friendlier confines such as anywhere in Texas, it’s a reasonable assumption that in our current economic state, the City of Oshkosh and Winnebago County goes broke within 12 months.

    Just saying.

 Terry Tate-Untill obama produces the documents(NOT the COLB) he is required by law to show in order to be eligible for the office of POTUS,he is by default, A USURPER !!Clearly an impeachable offense. Not to mention how he is enabling world-wide jihad, helping Hamas, the OIC and the muslim brotherhood to name a few. There is a PC driven mandate to refuse to acknowledge any of  this.
Let’s be honest. Bush made some blunders, all presidents do.But I doubt at his very core he was an America hating radical who wishes the utmost destruction upon us.Obama is not making mistakes,he is following a ruthless and deadly agenda. We better start recognizing this for what it is.Right now we are an occupied country. He and the people who guid his policies hate America like no one else in history ever has.He is not on a learning curve because of his “inexperience” . We are making the most devastating error anyone can ever make in underestimating our enemy. All socialists become stalinists given enough time, and by allowing PC to control our right to voice our thoughts we are giving him all he needs.

    • political.fish

Terry’s point is crucial. Either Obama’s actions and policies are legal (constitutional) or they aren’t. If his actions are legal, then the constitution assures its own destruction by protecting its very subversion. If Obama’s actions and policies are illegal (unconstitutional), then he is actively subverting the constitution and is impeachable on that basis. If his actions and policies are legal then we have no basis to act outside of the ballot box, which in my view does nothing to prevent our continued conversion to a socialist state. If his actions are illegal then we are duty bound to remove him from office by any and all means necessary and redirect the country toward its original design.
I believe the actions and policies of Obama are unconstitutional in that he is striving to implement a quasi/marxist and/or socialist state domestically, and ultimately to subjugate the American people to an unelected global government of the same design.
Sadly, the protections intended by the framers are being ignored by a complicit congress and an effete SCOTUS thus, we are witnessing the death of the historic American ideal and the prosperity and individual freedom it produced.

“Dissent for me, but none for thee”

Typical hypocritical anti free speech Leftism – the babies will cry

  • David

No impeachable offense? Have bawney fwank give obama a blow job and video tape it.

  • libertarian

It won’t be until after the 2010 elections that we’ll have a chance of seeing him impeached. Even those opposed to him in his own party wouldn’t dare to dream of impeachment. We need a republican majority. By the joker’s actions he’ll all but guarantee that :!:

    • Xavier

And then even if he is impeached by the Congress it does not mean that the Senate will remove him from office as we clearly saw during the Clinton impeachment.

    • Bobby E

But, Xavier, it might accomplish one of two things. He might start singing a different tune, for one. But, being the gambler I am that’s not where my money would go. My money would be bet on another reaction – the wolf would come out of the sheep’s clothing. The mere act of impeachment proceedings would bring that wolf out along with all of his ignorant hounds to intimidate the rest of us and make the one wrong move that will be the beginning of the end for them all.

  • ArchInfidel

This is great, that sign is less than five miles from me, I’ll have to go for a drive this afternoon.

  • Phillip

What’s impeachable is his plan to rule by executive fiat, when he could not see his agenda realized via the legislative process, and he has a bicameral majority! He plans to rule by Executive Order, and by usurping the Constitutionally proscribed process he commits treason (impeachable). The amount of money he raised from foreign donors is unconscionable, and constitutes treason. He has been bought and paid for by foreign interests. He is the world’s President, and he acts like it. The birth certificate issue notwithstanding, he is, without question, illegitimate and anything he signs is, therefore, invalid.

  • Lew Wadd

The Attorney is paying $1000 a month for 6 months to rent that humongous billboard. For that low of a rental fee these things should be popping up all over the U.S..

    • Bobby E

Just outside a small town in Louisiana I drove by a property that had hand-painted signs hanging on the fence facing the highway calling for shithead’s ouster. It only cost them a little for plywood and paint … and it was the best part of my day.

  • Jay Verhulst

Interesting that those complaining about the economy would shell out $6000 for nothing. Obviously he has faired well.

  • WingCommander

Some winds of change are blowing!

    http://www.larouchepac.com/lpactv?nid=13522

Obama is done. He has broken laws that assure the continuance of our manned space flight! That was the last straw!

    • Hawkerdriver (Pisson the Koran)

I think Congress is really afraid of the percieved “race riots” that supposedly will come after an ouster attempt on this president. This administration is out of excuses/defenses except for the good old trusty race card.Sadly, that still works for the black masses and apologetic whites.

Untill we drop political correctness before principle as a way of life we are doomed to suffer the rest of obama’s term,no matter what he does.

    • Bobby E

You are right about Congress, Hawkerdriver. This has been the fear from day one. However, I would welcome them because this time around there would be an equally brutal counter-riot. And, through this is where the useful idiots will learn they are considerably outnumbered and not the majority they perceive themselves to be.

  • jazzharp

Wow. Reading the comments here has soiled my mind. What a bunch of idiots! Impeach Obama? Why are you people so afraid of a black man? Especially one who is so much more intelligent than any of you. Oh yeah, that’s it! You can’t “put him in his place” so you vomit all over these boards. Bunch of flatheads! You make Wisconsin proud! Manure farming has gotten to you.

    • Noway2no

Not afraid of any color. Or lack there of. Obummer is a bumbling idoit without a clue of what he is dealing with.

You on the other hand sound like a lucid deep thinker of the highest order. Keep it up you’re really going to be a boon to this country when you grow up.

Do you know what sarcasm is?

    • Bobby E

That’s funny, jazzy man. I beg to differ about the intelligence and would challenge him any day of the week. I fear it is you that’s lacking in that department. I could give you quite a list of blacks and Hispanics that are far more qualified that I wouldn’t have had a problem voting for. So, let’s turn this around: what was your big fucking intelligent decision in voting for Obama?

    • Bobby E

If I haven’t soiled your mind enough, read again my comment above … no, way above (you sound like you need some direction); the ignorant electorate would be the crew you’re part of.

    • MinneSoCold

Nice try jazzhands, spoken as only a race-baiting troll can. Problem is, race has nothing to do with anything good or bad about this president. Yes, he’s the first elected black president which has historic meaning, but doesn’t mean squat when it comes to the duties of the office. It comes down to traits you are unfamiliar with, they’re called character, honor and duty. People opposing him take issue with his policies, divisiveness, deceptions and lies. Most of us saw that he was woefully unqualified for the office, his radical beliefs, undeniable ties to extremists and socialists.

So play your game if you will by using the race card to silence honest opposition, but understand we don’t fucking care about his race…. which actually makes you the racist and a willing apologist to a failed radical.

    • David

“… so much more intelligent than any of you.” Take away his teleprompter and all that is left is a crooked Chicago politician who hobnobs with racists, terrorists and union thugs.

    • Bobby E

 MinneSoCold. Wanted to come back and post something similar … well put. But, I also suspect this lackey for Zero doesn’t have the spine to come back and debate. He’s a drive-by ‘shooter’.

  • Noway2no

    Jizzharp,

So called leftist thinkers are merely unable to overcome our genetic roots with their rational mind.
A sign of weak moral fiber and often intellect.

The idea of an individual being the foundation of a society or system is the enlightened view versus some sort of collective where there are no parts only the whole. It is also the harder one to keep from collapsing into anarchy.
The level of responsibility that is placed on each person in the enlightened society is more than a base, lazy or dim citizen can handle. Crooks, demagogues and just downright evil people (Obummer is all three) see those weaknesses and exploit them.

They appeal to the base, lazy and dim at each ones vulnerable point. The leaders and the followers have no stomach for the hard work of an enlightened individual in a society of equals.

Did that “soil” your heretofore unsoiled mind?

  • ji

    :gun: Lets see.
Theres a rioter. :gun: Bang Bang
Oops my mistake. Hit by a stray bullet. What a shame.
Any one remember when the LA riots happened?
The police abandoned the streets and left the citizens to cope for themselves.
One store owned by Koreans, saw a mob coming their way and started shooting. Just when they were going to run out of ammo and be over run. The police gave them more ammo. Needless to say their store was safe.
    AND no one was prosecuted.
The safest neighborhoods in the US are where guns are allowed. A FACT.

The jobs Jeff Hall refers to indirectly include the military transport trucks that were being built in Sealy, TX getting ripped away to be built in Wisconsin by the OshKosh corp. Unemploy your enemies, employ your friends.

In Texas, we don’t particularly care for Peabo.

Since 2/3 of the stimulus is still unspent and uncomitted, and this commie has followed the FDR game plan to a T, watch out, the remaining stimulus money will be spent to get votes, legally and illegally. The remaining package needs to be cancelled. Encourage all conservative pundits to begin to address this before the elections get much closer.

Impeaching Congress or the Supreme Court may be what is needed to restore Constitutional rights; after all, they are the ones frustrating, reinventing it, or distorting it through the color of law to produce perverse outcomes relative to the Constitution, and citizenship rights in favor of appeasing corporations and the insider trading they are accused of doing.
