It just really pisses me off that our gubment has decided to pull the plug on the space program. Let’s make sure there is no innovation, no advancement, no gains, no challenges to achieve – instead just give it to the welfare mom so she can sit on the couch watching Opissy and eat Cheetos while waiting for the next check in the mail.

At 10:20 last night we had a HUGE BOOM that rattled the windows. We figured out a few minutes later that it was the shuttle passing over head for landing. Very cool. Have only lived in FL for 18 months, but also saw one lift off. An amazing sight for sure.
