Tom Tancredo: Morons And Illiterates Voted Obama Into Office

The Hill:

The Tea Party convention kicked off today in Nasvhille, and former Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-Colo.) opened up the convention with some controversial remarks about the 2008 election.

“People who could not even spell the word ‘vote’ or say it in English put a committed socialist ideologue in the White House,” Tancredo said during a speech, according to the Cleveland Leader.

Tancredo also said Obama won because “we do not have a civics, literacy test before people can vote.”

This isn’t the first time Tancredo has made controversial statements.

The Colorado Republican has long been a striden opponent of illegal immigration, and liberals have accused him of racial insensitivity. He launched a presidential bid in 2008 based on an anti-illegal immigration platform.

While explaining his opposition to Sonia Sotomayor’s nomination, he called the group La Raza “a Latino KKK without the hoods or the nooses.”

one only has to look around them and know that he is really right, as sad as it is, it is true.

    What’s the big deal?

    Everyone knows he’s right.

His statement is based on documented statistical facts. A Journal of Business Economics study shows that the typical Obama voter is the dregs of society: higher crime rate, higher mental disorders, higher substance abuse, illeterate, under/un-educated, economically unstable, less charitable…and on and on and on.

    • solomonpal

Tyler…and commies, leftists, greenies, anarchists, unions, thugs and ACORN,the state of Oregon, dumb ass college students and that big subgroup with pant’s on the ground.

  • Nanny

I would also throw this out at the convention. How about a valid ID to vote. Every time I go to the doctor I have to show my driver’s license and insurance card. Don’t give me the crap that poor people who don’t own a vehicle don’t have ID. I see them in the doctor’s office. They can show ID to get Medicaid and Medicare – they can show ID to vote.

    • Kirk

Illegal aliens from Mexico, can obtain a drivers license in a least one state, New Mexico, if I’m not mistaken.

    • NMPatriot

Kirk, you are correct! Our corrupt Gov. who by the way ran against Obama and crew in the Democratic primary, has allowed illegal aliens to get a Drivers License that is no different than the one I carry. He was also offered a position in the Obama administration but had to bow out due to allegations of corruptionn involving Richardson and his administration. That is the last we heard of the charges, Of Course! Fortunately this steaming pile of shit cannot run again for Gov.

Tancredo speaks the truth, voters need to pass a literacy test of basic government precepts before they are allowed to vote. Also they need to be able to read English only ballots, and if they don’t or won’t then fuck’em with a stylus or #2 pencil

  • stewmanchew

    Amen, my friends, Amen.

  • Ty

Personally, I’d also love to see some sort of welfare/food stamp guideline that says, “if you collect money from the government in this manner, then it is a conflict of interest and you cannot vote.”

    • the friendly grizzly

How about folks like government employees? They live off of the producers and their net contribution to the tax system is negative. The ONLY exception should be military folks.

    • cold soldier

If you produce nothing but children, crime, and disease, then we really dont need your influence

  • billy_bonney

This is why the marxists bastards want more illegal aliens in this ocuntry lure them here with free health care and get them to vote with phony ID supplied by ACORN.

    Billy

    • vincenzo4

If you notice Holder jumped right opn that criminal conspiracy didn’t he? For his inaction and failure to act on that alone he should have been disbarred.

  • vincenzo4

The left exploits the poor while flying under the radar while proclaiming the evils of repubs and the extreme right. Despicable but all too comm,on for the democratic left.

  • danh

Reminds me of an email I received some time ago. Mug shots of people with Obama T-shirts on at the time of their processing. Hilarious!

  • ji

    I voted for Tancredo.
The problem with him was he couldnt soft peddle the truth like most politicians.
People only want to hear about how your going to make their lives better.
Its like painting over burnt paint. It lasts for a little while then the burnt paint shows through again.

    • Kirk

Most politicians are devoid of the truth, that’s why this guy is like a breath of fresh air. I agree with him on these issues especially immigration, kicking the UN out, etc… I’d also like to see BATFE disbanded, and the right to buy full-autos restored, but hey, if your gonna dream, dream big!

  • Bob

The ones who can’t spell vote are not the ones I’m worried about. It is the ones like Bill Ayers I worry about. How far are these marxist willing to go to destroy America. Well like Palin said today,,,,,we need a revolution.

    • Rocky Mtn 1776

The nation can survive Obama but it can’t survive the people that put him in office. With an administration loaded with Commies and an economy in the toilet, something has to be done, NOW!

    • CRIMEDOG

Bob is right. Obama and the commies he brought with him will be easy enough to get rid of. It is those commies who have infiltrated positions in the Govt who have been lying dormant, awaiting someone like Obozo to be elected. That is how he was able to stir up so much crap in such a short time, his marxist minions were already in place. We need to make sure they get weeded out and replaced with patriots.

    • steve m

Ignorance – The most expensive commodity…and the left has the market cornered.

  • NMPatriot

I really like Tom and supported him in his bid for President, but as others have said, the truth will not get you elected. This country better get a handle on immigration.

  • ROF

Tancredo and Hunter would have been the best choices but this whole election was rigged from the get go, it wouldnt have mattered even if they had been nominated.

  • FuckTheTaliban

I’ve always loved Tancredo and his stances on illegal aliens. I would love for him to run for a higher office. By the way, people should check out the new UN bill on their ability to restrict or ban firearms in the USA. Really kind of scary. Bolton is the one who brought it up at WND but this could be a very bad thing for us. If they want to take my guns, then they better be ready for a battle. Tancredo for Prez!!

  • http://heyitsjustablogman.blogspot.com/ Ted

In America in 2010 all you have to do to be labelled a fringe, wack-job is to say something that is blatantly true.

    What a world.

    • dacoelec

Sad but true….. :!: :gun: :gun: At some point people will wake up and realize that only the truth will set us free :!:

  • cold soldier

Finally someone who speaks the truth :!: There was a reason only landowners were allowed to vote after this country was founded

    • Jim D

Only allowing landowners to vote would fix the problem instantly. All the project rejects in public housing and welfare dependants would not be able to rake the working man over the coals. That’s a damn good idea,Why don’t we do this anymore?
