    Actually weather is part of climate and this is a main point of leading skeptics for years now.

    I, via going to informed scientists, have known all the facts just now coming out for years. Some really top folks have been hollering at the tops of their voices for sometime, but it gets NO media play.

    1. climate is not weather and weather is not climate. Correct.
    The problem here is that many ‘climate scientists’ pointed to ‘dramatic changes in weather’ as proof that ‘climate change’ was occuring. Thusly, the information stream was muddled and muddied. Put enough bullet points down range and you’re gonna something right on the money.

    2. Note well the pseudo answer given to the question concerning whether ‘climate change’ is a hoax. First, our dear NOAA administrator didn’t answer the question. What she did was say that information would be available. Note also that our dear administrator didn’t mention the sun AT ALL. Sun spot activity is way down (or has been). There is no excuse considering the second word in the organization she administers is OCEANOGRAPHIC and what heats up the ocean, pray tell?
    But wait, there’s more! The issue is not whether the climate changes (NEWS FLASH – THE CLIMATE DOES CHANGE!!!) but whether human activity caused that (this) change AND whether a change in human activity CAN alter climate back to where it was.

    I actually basically agree that weather is not climate, and I would not say, “see, look at the cold and snow”, except for the fact, that they did the very same thing–”look how hot it is, global warming.” I have a degree in Environmental Studies, and no weather is not climate but the science doesn’t support climate change propositions either–CO2 doesn’t cause warming, warming causes CO2.

    The whole point of their “science is settled” BS is to get you to prove that it *isn’t* happening.
    Proving a negative is exponentially more difficult, if not impossible, in classic logic.
