For $76,000.00 plus tax, and any shipping and handling.

Cute. Can’t wait to see these in the next James Bond flick.

But for $76,000 I’d rather have a good used Cessna so I could actually go somewhere and take family, friends and baggage.

    But it’s still pretty cool.

I could imagine that there will be some hearing loss with the engines adjacent to the pilots head.

Ducted fans powered by a 2.0 L V4 2 stroke engine rated at 200 hp (150 kw), 6000 rpm max. At least something like this won’t happen:

Jet-powered wingsuits are pretty cool too:

This invention could lead to some great Darwin Awards

76,000 dollars to fly for about 30 seconds of flight time, huh…boy, that sounds like a steal and a deal at 2,250 dollars a second – sign me up!

    • Xavier

      30 sec.

Wow, I didn’t catch that. You’d crash before you could make it to the 711 for that sixer.

    • Tyler520

I actually do not know if it is 30 seconds – I am assuming based upon the typcial flight time of other devices on the market, past and present, which typically have a 30 or so second flight time.

Upon further research, they are CLAIMING half an hour of flight time. But as someone who works in R&D, I can safely wager that you could, at the very least, cut that figure by 1/4 to be more accurate (and safe).

Put a mini gun and a hellfire on it and I might just buy one. :gun:
