And I recommend you also pay attention to Obama’s war on the National Chamber of Commerce, a key part of Obama’s plans to overthrow the United States Government in favor of the Communist dictatorship he’s looking to establish as the end game of The American Communist Revolution of The Turn-Of-The-Century…

This is bad, very bad. One more link in the chains of slavery that are being forged.

    Hey Assholerod,

    You didn’t answer her question.

You only offer more bullshit to a serious question.

People need something in their lives to apply themselves to. Whether it be through a group, a religion, a cause, or any other human construct, people are in search of “meaning” and “purpose” for their lives.

Though many would not admit it, or may not even realize it, the vast majority of people’s lives revolve around material possession.

Such is the basis of a capitalistic society.

True, no force, religious, idealistic, or other, has proven to be more capable in increasing the material production of men than their own greed (i.e. capitalism).

But should material possession really be our ultimate goal?

What about goods of the intangible sort, like happiness, mutual respect, love, and camaraderie. I would much rather make “meaning” and “purpose” in my life by applying myself to these things. I would much rather live in a society with policies focused on promoting such things.

I am in no way advocating communism as a superior alternative to capitalism

I am merely proposing that not all social welfare policies are as ill-conceived as many staunch conservatives would like you to think. Laissez faire is not always the best answer.

    Tell me what you think.
