Dems Back Dictatorship, Approve Slaughter Solution In 222-203 Vote

Obama made it clear that he approves legislation by Presidential dictate, when he told Bret Baier that he didn’t care about the rules, only that health care becomes law. Just what exactly did you think that meant?

Democrats shot down a Republican effort to force an up-or-down vote on the Senate healthcare bill on Thursday afternoon.

In a 222-203 vote, Democrats beat back a GOP resolution offered by Democrat-turned-Republican Rep. Parker Griffith (Ala.) that would have forced lawmakers to vote on the Senate healthcare bill separately from the series of fixes they hope to make to that legislation.

All Republican lawmakers who voted opposed the measure, which had the effect of ending the GOP’s effort to force a vote. They were joined by 28 Democrats, who broke with party members on the vote.

222 Democrats supported the measure, though, meaning enough to proceed. Three members of both parties did not vote.

Republicans had hoped for the separate vote to get Democratic lawmakers on record on the Senate bill, which includes some provisions on abortion, excise taxes, and other issues that House lawmakers find distasteful.

As this stand, Democrats plan a vote on a rule on Sunday that would make changes to the Senate-passed bill while deeming the original legislation to have passed the House.

Republicans have decried the measure as extra-parliamentary and possibly unconstitutional. Democrats have defended the process as well within the scope of regular congressional action, and White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said Thursday that President Barack Obama would sign a bill passed through such a process.

The fact that they’re doing this in plain sight is absolutely revolting and, quite frankly, taking the process to where it’s at, leads me to believe that they are simply not afraid to ram through anything illegal and unconstitutional because they FULLY BELIEVE they will not be met with resistance, either by the Military or by the citizenry. If this goes through Sunday, what then? I’ll tell you – you’ll be just like Canadians, chewing on the eternal shit sandwich because, collectively, the Canadian population would not uprise and fight the Socialist movement off. President Ball-Lick Obumfuck is counting on this from US citizens as well and come next week, US citizens are going to take the first big bite out of that shit sandwich. Unfortunately, the collective will of civilized citizenry is about as rigid as an overcooked spaghetti noodle, and that’s a fact. Government corruption trumps its citizenry always – these Liberal fuckers should be treated as domestic terrorists and hostiles, not “elected officials”. Far too many people are afraid of the “we cannot be like them” stigma and thus, you’re all as cooked as Brits, Canadians, French, Swedes, or “insert any other Communist Paradise”.
