National Coffee Party Day: Cream Slurpers Explain Their Movement

Mar 13, 2010 13 Comments ›› Pat Dollard

Today was National Coffee Party Day.

From The Daily Caller:

If Tea Partiers are more comfortable waving signs at a health-care protest, these activists seem much more at ease with a cup of java inside the calm confines of a coffee shop.

This weekend marks the kick-off of the Coffee Parties across the country— which has been billed as the liberal response to the Tea Party movement — and I stopped by one of the Washington D.C. area gatherings Saturday morning at Peregrine Espresso in the Eastern Market area — only to find a small gathering of five activists huddled at a small table.

The government is the PROBLEM! They have spent all the money. We are BROKE! If the government does anymore, then just flush us down the crapper! We are dung/done!
Look at Greece. We are in worse shape. When will the riots begin? As soon as Obamacare passes! There is going to be a revolution to match nothing ever seen before in this country. The young people are so dumbed down that they have no idea what they are facing!

I’m sure our armed forces will protect their rights…… this whole country is a joke…… our current generals should be tired for treason, they have left our country to the vultures. Why in the fuck is any of my money going to support a military that does not protect our Constitution??????????????

Video #1 – You’re not the majority, not even close. You’re asking Republicans to surrender…fuck you. Live longer than 23 years and get back to me.

PS – how’s that Liberal Arts degree working out for you?

Video #2 – You’re losing and are going to continue to lose, get used to it. Your people in D.C. have been exposed for what they really are. Boo-Hoo-Hoo.

Video #3 – has been removed.

Synopsis – Young and old hippies are pissed-off at Obama.

Coffee Party? More like the Double Mocha Latte’ Party. Just another ploy by the wrong side to attract media attention from those giants of honest journalism – CNN. This is a very-very weak attempt to defuse the Tea Party by sounding and acting like them, but liberals just can’t contain themselves – they start preaching more government at first opportunity and entirely blow what ever cover they had over their heads.

I wouldn’t worry too much about the Latte’ Party – they will disintegrate as fast as they rose. Can’t keep a secret and can’t agree with anything among themselves. Just shows the futility and desperation of the Left to stifle free speech and any true grassroots movement.

      Too funny!

  • Tim Roesch – pseudo intellectual

‘Collective will of the people’ and ‘diversity’

Two excellent points made by the first speaker which describe this movement perfectly.

Collectivism is not part of the US Constitution.

It is also interesting that she seems to be talking about the sorts of strategies used by the Democrats and the MSM to shut up conversation.

She is the Tea Party but she is totally unaware of it. I would love to engage her in dialogue.

The cute Asian gal who wants to “date her Gov’t” will soon realize that we are all about to be date-raped by our Gov’T! Undoubtedly they will boast and say we asked for it….by being so “free”!
Seriously folks whatever goes down I strongly recommend checking in with GOD….He gives me a view of the world that allows me to be more fearless….to speak up and to sleep well!

    Peace…….through strength!

That’s the one that stood out for me too. She wants to date her government and she’s single. Oh, how cute! None of them said anything substantial. Robots.

  • Herno

Just remember nobody in the coffee party owns firearms :gun:
