The intent of progressives is to whittle away at Americans having that connection. They are doing it with all of our institutions which, by the way, we fund: government, academic, media, financial, etc. We are funding our own demise. I just don't see how we are going to turn this around. Progressives have made their long march through all of our institutions while we were busy making a living. Now they are now in control. They are very good at agitprop and disinformation. I think that all we can hope for is that their Obamacare taxes in combination with the tax cuts expiring by 2011 will push the economy over the edge into Depression. It will be very ugly, a time of titanic social and political change. It will be violent. Don't underestimate the bloodthirsty nature of progressives. Look at their history.
