My only criticism of this article comes in the first line where he states that “Democrats are assaulting the very pillars of our democracy.” Mr. Kuhner was a Canadian by birth, so I forgive him for not knowing that the U.S. is not a democracy, but instead a Constitutional Republic. The best description I have heard to define a “democracy” is when two wolves and one sheep decide “what’s for dinner”. It’s only good if you are the wolf. Ask the citizens of Venezuela how that “democracy thing” is working out for them.

A Constitutional Republic, on the other hand, grants all citizen certain unalienable Rights which the government cannot vote or take away (in theory anyway) . . . where the will of the majority of the population is tempered by protections for individual rights so that no individual or group has absolute power. If Mr. Kuhner would have replaced “democracy” with “Constitutional Republic”, the article would have been spot on.

Like I said last night, be very careful what you wish for, you just might get it. If you go the entire ‘Civil War’ option you will roll the dice and provide the sort of opportunity for depostism and tyranny the French Revolution gave to people like Napoleon, the Guillotine or the Jacobins.

If violence is the answer you need to be very careful what question you are answering.

1. I am VERY curious what the military is thinking about all of this. Understanding that there is no such things as ‘the military’ I am curious what various EMs are thinking along these lines.
2. More important than actual violence is the threat of violence. The Tea Party movement acting as good cop and the ‘violent right wing’ acting as bad cop will get more done, more efficiently with less chance of some sort of Jacobin solution then merely going rogue on the steps of the White House.

That;s funny…….. impeachment….. LOL….. we need a Civil War at this point……………… What we need to so is create a set or deck of TARGET CARDS with Obongo as the JOKER and Biden as the QUEEN of Spades and on and on…. (Like we used in Iraq) and seek out these bastard Communists and deal with them. as we find them. We cannot be NICE or REACH ACROSS THE AISLE, they need to be eliminated from our soil………….call me a fascist but at some point, something “elegant” needs to be done…………
