Obama Health Care Overhaul

WASHINGTON (AP) – House Democrats say they are on track for a Sunday vote on a $940 billion health care bill that will expand coverage to millions.

The Number 2 Democrat in the House said the health care package will also reduce the federal deficit by more than $100 billion over its first 10 years—and more than $1 trillion in the second decade.

Rep. Steny Hoyer of Maryland said the legislation will deliver the biggest reduction in the federal deficit since the 1990s, while providing access to health care coverage for nearly all Americans and prohibiting insurance companies from denying coverage to the sick.

    CONTROL … this is about CONTROL.

    Why is there a takeover of private loans for education in this bill? If this pig passes, the public loses the ability to take private loans to fund their or their children’s education. Some will say, “Well, the government wants the interest from those loans.” …. I say, “BULL!”. They want to control WHO get loans and the INTEREST RATE of those loans. Without competition from private banks, they can put whatever rate they want on them. So be good little boys and girls or your children won’t be in college … know what I mean?

      Absolutely dead-on. Health Care is the camo used on this bill. It’s about everything else. Once this passes (Hope it wont…) then it will affect what you are talking about and more.
      Next will come, later in the year, banning gun ownership (Using the same tactics used for this current bill)
      Then it will be an enhance version of hate-crimes affecting HATE SPEECH and it won’t apply to UNIONS who will then get the support of Obama to create units similar to the Brown Shirts and the rest is history. If this goes through, America will finally become a Socialist Nation by Monday morning and you can start saying farewell to our Constitution.
      I say we pull our forces out from all over the world and come home to restore America because the units here are not mobilizing to help the people from this intellectual and criminal elite venture.

      I knew as soon as Obama was elected that the notion of merit was over. It will no longer be what you do that defines you as an American but rather who do you know….what bureaucratic “knob” to you have to polish to move on in life. I can’t stand to live in that kind of world. My back is against the wall. I can take the thought of failing, picking up, and trying again, but I cannot stomach having to ask someone if I can even start based on whether or not I am a member of the “Party.”

    This is a Socialist take over without firing one single shot. I;m not sure what our armed forces are going to do. Basically, they will have let our country down by allowing Democracy to evaporate. I really thought they were suppose to protect America from this sort of thing…..Don’t want to piss anyone but where is the testicular fortitude of our generals on this issue. Our Commander-In-Chief will now turn the country upside down as the Constitution erodes. Where is the valor and the duty…. and the promise to protect the American Way? The people, vets, and others will but what about the ORGANIZED and TAX-PAID standing armed forces?
    We fight hard for others around the world yet, we fail miserably at home and on public display is this Obamination goes through. Obama is laughing at all our men and women that are suppose to protect our nation, they were unable to stop a dictator that used our own system of voting to take the helm.
    If this bill passes in the manner that it seems to be going, this is the saddest day in America,……. THE SADDEST DAY in America.

    If this passes, this will be taken by the socialists that we are not willing to fight about nothing. This will embold them to take complete control of our nation and future. I can promise you that our gun rights are next. We’ll set in front of our computer screens and bitch away as we type,giving them a piece of our mind when we should be giving them a piece of wood on the side of the head. We’ll bitch away as they come and take our freedom of speech, and force us into servitude.
    We are Americans. We breath freedom. Freedom is our life blood. We made this world a better place. More than any other nation on earth. Our fathers, mothers, sons and daughters died for freedom. Will we let their deaths fade away into darkness? I pray not. :gun:

      I feel like you do but not quite yet….some are fighting back in many ways but at when the point comes that unusual tactics are employed to pass bills without Constitutional support, that’s were the “rub” comes in. Bitching and winning is part of the process but I do believe it will be a different thing if it does pass.
      What concerns me is that I have not seen a true movement or shift from the part of our generals (internally) that addresses what happens when and if out government deviates from the rule of law and starts to erode the Constitution in the manner that this Hussein Ass-Wipe and his cohorts are attempting to do.
      It’s their duty (Armed Forces) to protect our Constitution from foreign or domestic enemies and I still have not been aware of any positions in which the the Chiefs-Of-Staff are recommending that it’s imperative that they (American Military Branches) sustain and maintain their sworn duty to protect America and to address Congress that this process that the Democrats in control are electing to use is not in the best interest of our nation and that they (Our Armed Forces) have the legal right and obligation to exercise the reason they exist to begin with. It’s not a threat or a warning, it’s their responsibility to protect the American Constitution, period. If they don’t then they are as negligent as the current Congress.
      I don’t think our armed forces will not follow the creed to protect this nation…I really don’t. If they fail and let this spiral down however, then It’s the duty of the citizens and patriots of this country to request for external assistance, politically and economically at first, in the quest to restore American values, for without them, the world is fucked as well.
      We find ourselves that States may find obscure laws that will ignite a process of Succession, I’m sure starting with Texas, and the other usual southern states that have fucking balls to challenge the “FEDERALES” ….. (Wait this reminds of an old conflict that took place around 1860′s…….. what could that be?)
      If there’s another point of view that it’s much smarter than mine or have the inside scoop on this, love to hear.
      Anyway ODIN2012, I’m with you in the sentiment but I’m slightly, just a tad, more optimistic today, but that can change by say, an hour from now.)

    I said this before, this is about power. Ultimate power. Can you imagine that you have a 6 year old daughter that needs a special medication or operation to live and some government dip shit tells you sorry, she’s not worth it. Can you imagine some storm trooper breaks down your door and takes your kids because you own a gun….the Obama healthcare declares that guns are a health issue. Most of all can you imagine that because you refuse to buy something that the government demands, throws you in prison. This is not about your health. This is about slavery.
