I would say I have a hard time believing this, but given what happened to me at a Sonic I’m not so sure.
I ordered a shake one time at that drive thru menu, and then proceeded to the pick up window, whereupon my wife and I then proceeded to watch the girl prepare my shake. Both of us watched in amazement as the girl dazedly held the cup near the ice cream nozzle as she dispensed the ice cream, yet failed to get into the cup. She missed the cup entirely and deposited every last drop on the rack that catches the waste material below the nozzle, and all because she was looking over her shoulder at something else she found interesting. Both my wife and I were amused up to this point, but then that was until she made her next move, which was to look down at the ice cream on the waste rack, and instead of scooping it up and throwing it away, she scooped it up and deposited it into the cup. Did she then throw the cup away? Hell no, she then proceeded to mix the damn milk shake like nothing had happened, and then brought it over to the window for the girl at the window to sell to me.
I politely said hell no I won’t accept that and then told the manager why not.
And that dear folks is why this country is going to hell in a hand basket.
