Reid Mocks Palin After Searchlight – With Video

Facing an uphill reelection battle, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) took some teasing shots at Sarah Palin at a fundraiser — cracking wise about the former VP nominee and then throwing in a “You betcha!” after he had the laughter of the crowd.
In a video posted by Fox News Channel’s Greta Van Susteren, the majority leader — casually clad in jeans and a button-down shirt — went after Palin and the tea party protesters who gathered in his hometown of Searchlight last week to take a stand against Reid.
“I was going to give a few remarks on the people who were over here a week ago Saturday,” Reid said to the crowd, “but I couldn’t find it written all over my hands.”
The sympathetic crowd erupted in laughter, and Reid added a “You betcha!” with a smirk for good measure.
Van Susteren posted the slightly out-of-focus, homelike video on her blog before Fox News is slated to air her sit-down with Reid on Monday evening.
