Republicans begin to question speed of Obama’s response. Hannity: “They did nothing for nine days.” … Why is this oil spill unlike other oil spills? Ecologist Willy Bramis notes that there’s no ship hull here to limit the amount of oil that’s spilled… the oil is just seeping into the water from its natural source. Bramis calls it the ecological catastrophe of our generation. … Chances Obama misses tomorrow’s White House Correspondent’s Association dinner? Even senior administration officials don’t know just yet. VP Biden is already booked for a dinner in Arizona (!) and the President’s schedule is open on Sunday. …. I’ve been wracking my brain for the last week trying to come up with a scenario were a modern off-shore drilling rig suffers any type of foreseeable damage and leaks oil. Katrina disappeared many rigs and there were zero leaks reported in the national / international MSM.

The act of war reported in the previous post is what makes the most sense of all.

PS – if necessary we’ll cap-off the rig’s production-line’s leaks near the ocean floor, if it doesn’t already exist we can quickly come-up with the technology, Evil Inc hasn’t destroyed American ingenuity yet and he never will.

The State of Louisiana has been screwed by the Feds (ie other sister states) for 50+ years… This doesnt surprise me… But if we were to choke off the Mouth of the Missippi and refuse to refine/drill for any one but us, The Feds would come in and kill us all to take our resources…
