J. Sean McVey graduated from West Liberty University (formerly West Liberty State College) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in July of 2009. He studied classical piano, theory, ear training, and form and analysis. Additionally, he studied composition, electronic music, music technology, and recording technology during his course of study, and accumulated over 90 hours in said studies, 13 of those in major applied study classical piano lessons. His resume includes piano competitions at the state level with honorable mentions, student recitals in piano (one performing in voice and acting as assistant conductor), and auditioning and performing in the departmental Honors Recital on piano.
