I tell you: every generation goes through it’s ‘rebellious’ stage and, in that vein, this current generation is no different. However, unlike those currently in power who are a product of the rebellious sixties, this current generation is rebelling against the status quo that is truly corrupt (unlike those who were in power in the sixties).
Those who were in power in the sixties were products of the Great Depression and WWII, and they knew what evil was all about. As a result, they had great respect for country and belief in God. They also worked hard to better their life for themselves and their families.
Those currently in power have no idea what evil looks or smells like because they have literally known nothing but peace and prosperity thanks to the hard work of their parents and grandparents. Thus, with no true experience from which to draw, they have and continue to create the mess we are currently in…
The unfortunate thing is, as it took those in the sixties fifty years to ‘arrive’ and, in the name of peace and harmony (lately coined as ‘diversity and inclusion’) begin to undo what had worked so well for over two hundred years, it may also take the next fifty years for these ‘Davids’ to ‘arrive’.
Either way, better buckle up and hang on; we are in for a bumpy ride!
