I have asked tons of people to outline the story of Robin Hood in one sentence and they always say the same thing; “Robin Hood stole from the rich and gave to the poor.”
I tell them, “No, Robin Hood stole from the tax collectors and gave the money back to the over-taxed people.” They look at me like I have two heads. The story of Robin Hood has been twisted to a socialist idea by our socialist education system.
Now, about the movie. I will probably not see it unless it is the true story of Robin Hood. If anyone sees the movie, please let me know.

I’m with you Viper, I won’t see movies anymore if their based on a bogus premise. I have yet to see a movie about the Iraq/Afghan war for the very same reason. Sci Fi is the exception since it makes no pretense to being factual.

Having seen every “Robin Hood” since Errol Flynn I can confirm that Robin robbed the establishment Taxcollectors and gave back to the Taxpayers. Even the Kevin Costner (YECH)Robin Hood did that. It seems that the Merry men just wanted to be left ALONE- The first Tea Party members!
