    You know, I’ve never been able to understand this “on the record, off the record” shit, nor the “public life, private life” bullshit.

    I’ve always thought, WTF are you talking about?

    If I commit a crime in my private life, or off the record does that mean it’s not a crime?

    Similarly, if I act like a douchebag “off the record”, does that mean I’m not a douchebag?

    It’s all wacko, bullshit, psychobabble, meant to excuse bad behavior, so that people can avoid the consequences of their actions.

    As far as I’m concerned, it’s all on the record.

    Your life is your life.

    Deal with it.

    So, if a journalist is present and you don’t trust them, freeze them out.

    You know they are weasels.
