like “is West interested in development in freedom of speach in russia?” answer no, the qurrent status quo is preferable for the “west”. about some idiotic PC laws that are jsut plain weak. like about muslims demanding and building mosques in the western countries while no muslim nations allowing building of the churches in the their countries, like in Mecca for ex. some other internal issues as well, mostly droping bomb on putins kgb rule. like the about known jailed oil tycoon Khordokovski, there was a court subpena, and khordokovski demanded to question putin and alexander miller (gazprom CEO) regarding the oil industry in russia, the system of kickbacks, mostly towards the vested interests in West itself. also a question of so called “code of behavior of Moscowites” witch is aimed at foreigners and is forbiding them to behave in certain ways. but at the same time, if anybody here has visited turkish resorts recently, u can probably confirm that russians do behave as if they were in moscow, that is acting like snobish vulgar pigs, pissing on everything. a bit of hypocricy. all nations should enact a law forbiding russians behaving like russians do. just to fuck with them. although most civilized nations do have laws agains drunkerly disorder, lound and insulting speach in public places, drunk driving, and just generally offencive behavior, like puking and trashing the immediate vicinity around them. also regarding the recent law, giving the FSB authority to force the editing of the blogs, and news sites in russia (like some people in the states wish to do the same to sites like Patdollard.com) and delete the user comments that are deemed “extremist” as well as their IP adresses. although the law on “extremism” is vague. comment like “lets get rid of putin” is exremist in nature, and the editor of the site could face some legal troubles, up to jail time and huge fines. basicaly its somethiing that most of the russians wont ever get cause the majority are slaves almost on genetic level, and are willing to submit to any authority without questions asked. hell, they will be more than glad, as long as their “mighty russia” can fuck with transcontinental superpowers like Estonia, Lithuania, Poland, and last, but not the least – Georgia, witch earned 1st place in the list of threats and enemies of their “motherland” according to the recent poll in russia.
also about genral McCrystal and how proud is the guest that there still are generals like that, and wishes that russia will have anybody just as good and as close to his capabilities and guts.
