    It occurred to me while watching the video that it was when Tony got sick and had to leave the W.H., the Left really started to go after “W”. Tony was kind of a firewall, (or something like that), who effectively defended W’s message and policies in a way that the other Press Secretaries couldn’t.

    The world was a much better place with Tony Snow in it.

    He was the kind of man who could face down stupipity with a smile on his face. He could school the stupid and they never knew just how bad they looked.

    What I love about this exchange is that even though there was an adversarial debate, Tony never got personal, never passed the buck and never stonewalled.

    Gibbs could learn a thing or 500 from Tony

    Ahh, the days when an actual intelligent human was the press secretary and not a ventriloquist DUMMY. Helen was so transparent and yet not a word about her anti-semitic beliefs. May the fleas of a thousand Bin Laden beards infest her butt hair.
