    Madcow has got to be the dumbest talking head on cable news.

    PS – a fairly large, properly placed, shaped charge would in fact sever the drill pipe casing and collapse the sea floor on top of the severed pipe and would seal the leak. Seriously, are you gonna tell me that a 1,000lb shaped charge of conventional explosives isn’t going to seal-off that leaking oil well forever?
