Whore Tries To Turn Thousands Of “Tricks” At Camp Pendleton In One Day

Michelle Obama

CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. (AP) – First lady Michelle Obama told thousands of troops and their families Sunday that she is launching a national challenge to Americans to find ways to support them.

Since her husband took office, Obama has been visiting bases across the country as part of her mission to improve the quality of life for military families. She called Camp Pendleton and the surrounding Southern California cities a model for community support of troops.

But California Republicans called the event a publicity stunt to help Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., who is running for a fourth term and has been criticized by opponents for not doing enough to support troops. President Barack Obama flew to California last month to support Boxer’s fundraising efforts for her campaign.

The first lady said she came to Camp Pendleton for a simple reason: “To help the rest of our country better understand and appreciate the incredible service of you and your families, and to make sure your voices are heard back in Washington and that your needs are met.”

Boxer spoke only minutes to the crowd of about 3,500 troops and families, telling them how President Obama’s economic recovery act provided funding to build a new hospital that will replace the 36-year-old facility on base, and gave money toward a new child care center.

She thanked the military wives who met with her, saying: “Some of my best ideas that have led to legislation for mental health benefits, compensation, etc. These have come from you directly.”

Legislation proposed by Boxer recently provided money for a new wounded care treatment facility in San Diego and treatment for burn victims in San Antonio, Texas.

Republican rival, Carly Fiorina has challenged Boxer’s legislative record on supporting the troops. The former Hewlett-Packard CEO tried to fire up the GOP base by showing a widely played video clip of the longtime senator reprimanding a general for calling her “ma’am” at a Senate hearing last year.

Her campaign manager called Boxer’s appearance at Camp Pendleton rich in irony.

“The bottom line is that Barbara Boxer has shown a total disregard for our men and women in uniform, and her record on security issues is, to put it generously, dismal,” Fiorina’s deputy campaign manager, Julie Soderlund, said in an e-mail to The Associated Press.

“Today, she’s getting some help yet again from the Obamas in an attempt to try to mask that over. But the facts are the facts. And the facts bite, especially for those who put their lives on the line every day to protect this great nation.”

“But California Republicans called the event a publicity stunt to help Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., who is running for a fourth term…”

Um, yeah, hey AP, isn’t that what the first two-thirds of the article is, a publicity stunt for Sen. ImHavinaBadHairDay?

Why doesn’t the press go to the base and ask the guys there what they think of these fricken dimwits? Oh, buty wait. The press is mostly liberal and this would make their people look bad. They could conceal their identities too. As a military family, I talk to the guys and my sons often. They despise these people. Especially BHO.

I got an idea… How about supporting them with state of the art weapons, good medical treatment, dragon skin armor for all the troops, and a commander in chief that cares for their well being. :gun:

      This.

      US military spending:

      6 times greater than China’s
10 times greater than the UK’s
      11 times greater than Russia
      14 times greater than Germany
      46 times greater than Israel

How much more would you like the spend?

The US gained a lot of experience trying to teach democracy to fundamentalists during the 20th century. Now that the hicks have got the hang of it isn’t it time to enjoy being wealthy instead of letting the armaments industry empty our coffers, and the neo-cons argue for a police state, every time a bomb goes off?

The Brits managed to live through the IRA without throwing away their civil liberties: and those guys were far more active than the moslems have been.

You guys keep praising Tea Party and then argue to throw away the savings on bombs and public surveillance.

I know of a way to better way for the public to support the troops.

Choose a better candidate than Obama next time around.

Or better yet, have your husband resign Mrs. Obama.

You want to understand the mindset of the Obama’s?

Look no further than this quote:

    —————————————————–

She thanked the military wives who met with her, saying: “Some of my best ideas that have led to legislation for mental health benefits, compensation, etc. These have come from you directly.”

    —————————————————–

    It’s all about them.

See, the ideas came from the military wives, but she refers to the ideas as hers (Some of my best ideas).

They just don’t know how to just say thank you and shut up.

All I can say is that Obama’s track record for backing candidates is terrifyingly sad … so that gives us some “hope” for Cali, eh?

How pathetic coming from the MARXIST enemy that’s trying to destroy America from within. :gun:
