That’s the first time in my life where I’ve seen a Chief of Police address the press about slain Officers and there was not an undercurrent of, “the mother-fucker that did this is as good as dead”.
Maybe it’s just me, but that just didn’t seem right.

Geez, Mike, when talking to the press, the chief of police can’t allude to street justice, emotionally or otherwise. The media would have a field day with that. But, I’ll bet she wasn’t so restrained in her briefings with the Tampa officers. This perp had better be prone and naked if and when a Tampa cop finds him, and even then . . . .
