    Pat,

    While I wholeheartedly agree with the thought, I hold that the Obumbler Regime and the other despicable Leftists are the counterrevolutionaries and we are Defenders of the American Revolution.

    Although the specific sovereign or form sovereign to which they are fighting to return absolute power may differ from the one from which We The People wrested that power in the American Revolution, they none the less seek to negate our Revolution and subjugate the American People.

    Here’s why we are counterrevolutionaries: the left has launched a revolution against the institution of this country and the institutions that constitutionally form it, that we are beating back.

    I completely understand your point, and not being either God or the sharpest shed with tools in it, I could be quite wrong in my assessment above. But as the Founding Fathers completed the Revolution whose fruits we are now protecting, for now at least, I’m sticking with my label of counterrevolutionary.

    Gotta go with my gut on this one.

    If the “Revolution” was the defining moment in this Country’s history, when our forefathers threw off the yoke of England’s taxes and tyranny, then I say History may repeat itself. We find ourselves, “True Americans,” in the very nature of times when those of us that know our history and our constitution see misdeed after misdeed and stand angry and wanting for some action to correct this affront to the very core which DEFINES us as AMERICANS. True Americans are by nature, slow to anger, we find solace in the constructs of that Glorious Document which is OUR CONSTITUTION and of our due process of government which by LAW is, OF the PEOPLE, By the PEOPLE, and FOR the PEOPLE. It is also stated in our Glorious Constitution that should an acting government, against the will of the majority of the people attempt to subvert, impair, or malign the will of the PEOPLE, THEN IT IS THE PEOPLE’S RIGHT under the CONSTITUTION to remove that Governing body by WHATEVER MEANS NECESSARY to preserve and PROTECT the Constitution of the United States of America.

    In the mid-1960′s these mother-fuckers in the radical Left launched a revolution to overthrow the United States of America, America slapped them down, then Lucifer’s greatest fan, that mother-fucker Saul Alinsky wrote a book, “Rules For Radicals”, that gave the radical Left of the 1960′s a new path to follow and a new hope for success in destroying America.

    And today, these same mother-fuckers of the 1960′s radical Left have acquired de facto control of the Democratic Party, the MSM and Academia.

    They are attempting to carrying out nothing less than a Marxist Revolution.

    So therefore Pat’s correct, we are counter-revolutionaries.

    PS- And I’ll tell you what really pisses me off to no end, when Saul Alinsky began writing “Rules for Radicals” and up to his death in 1972…

    I do not think it is a right or wrong issue more a time frame and scope issue.

    If one, like Mike and you, starts the clock in recent history; then the Leftists have started a revolution.

    If one, like me, starts the clock with birth via the American Revolution of the only political system to ever vest real sovereignty with the individual citizen; then the Leftists, despite their claims of progressiveness and embrace of change, are really fighting our Revolution and dragging us back to ages old serfdom with some new nom de propaganda.

    May be an angels on the head of a pin issue, if trying to inform and persuade in the available time.

    Ultimately I agree with your original statement, and I think that like you any thinking American must conclude that this moment in history once again demands: “our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honour”.
