Alot of talk about B.P.,but no talk about about the goverment. I was even willing to cut the magic negro some slack on this one, until I heard one of Rush’s guests on his show last week. He said a federal plan was set in place in 1990, after the Exxon valdeze incident that REQUIRED federal intervention in offshore oil leaks or spills. He read excerpt’s of it on air, and the language was quite clear, there were plenty of “shall’s” and no “may’s” when refering to the federal response.
Maybe someone else here has further information on this, I was at work and could not follow the story as close as I would have liked. I’ve also heard Hannity refer to it.
