This video was good to see after reading the article that 40% of Americans do not understand why we celebrate the 4th of July. How sad that parents and schools failed their children.

The vid reminded me of the action of Rick Monday (Chi Cubs) who ran across the field (center to left field) and rescued the Flag from 2 protesters who were about to set it on fire. There is a recent story on it for July 4 and a video of his actions.

I respect that homeless guy more than I respect Obama.

Hands down, it’s not even close.

  • Edd

I’m a Vietnam veteran. Good way to make a guy cry. And Obama is the president? Not mine by God. Do you think that BO will take a trip down and award this guy anything? Hell no. How about his own trailer and some clean clothes? No, he’s to busy reaching out to the Muslims through NASA. God help our country. And I mean exactly what I say, God Help America.

  • Moriah

Much more deserving of the Presidency than that Muslim in the Black House..At least he loves America. Obama said … I won’t wear “that” pin on my chest…..

Amen! Zero and Hole-duh will probably scheme to come up with some kind of executive order to prohibit this in the future.

Guys and Gals, I am locating an address to use to send a few donations to this true American. If others are interested, I’ll post it later.

That was exactly what I was thinking about yesterday when I started my day with this footage.

Okay. I live in the Netherlands, so I have almost no recourses to find out where this man is living.
Yet, being non-American, this act touched me to the core.

Surely, a man with this attitude would be welcomed by me in case I would have a company and needed to hire a trustworthy worker.

Anyway, after telling myself I was a sorry bitch because I had tears in my eyes after watching it, the next thought that came to mind was: HE realy deserves a FEMA-trailer. Plus, most important, he needs protection from ACORN-freaks and the opportunity to build the life he wants. Meaning; better living-conditions, respect and a job he’s worthy off.

So, dear Tom, please go on investigating and let us know.
(Mind you, I still need to do some pay-back to the United States.)

  • Sam

The first Anti-American President would have run over the flag, of course.
