LOS ANGELES — Looks like Lindsay Lohan can continue to take drugs while in jail.

It’s OK since LiLo has a doctor’s note allowing her to take daily doses to deal with ADHD and insomnia.

TMZ.com reported today that Lohan’s prescriptions were being processed hours after she was sent away for her 90-days sentence. She’ll be allowed to take Adderall, a psychostimulant used to treat ADHD, and Ambien sleeping pills.

The allowance is ironic since it’s prescription drugs that have gotten Lohan “into this mess in the first place,” TMZ reported.

Smoking, however, is not allowed.

The 24-year-old actress — who surrendered yesterday to start her jail term for violating her probation in a 2007 drunken driving and cocaine possession case — was booked around 10:11 a.m. at Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, Calif.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel sentenced the “Mean Girls” star to 90 days in jail, three months in rehab and increased scrutiny by probation officials on July 6 after determining the actress violated her probation by missing seven alcohol education classes since December.

Sheriff’s officials said Lohan will end up serving only about two weeks behind bars because of jail overcrowding and anticipated credits for good behavior.

Lohan will be locked up for significantly longer than the 84 minutes she spent at the same jail in the same case in 2006.

Revel ordered that the actress cannot be freed on house arrest, electronic monitoring or work release.
