    Here where I am the Sheriff before our current one fucked-up so badly with a 92 y.o. man, a ranch owner out in the middle of nowhere, the old man, a life long Cattleman, came to his front porch with a 12 ga. coach gun where the Sheriff, on a Sunday morning, was standing there asking if he could use his phone.

    The Sheriff NEVER I.D.’d himself as the County Sheriff until after he called for and back-up arrived.

    Why the Sheriff was there in the first place at 7 a.m. was very fuzzy to say the least.

    The community backlash over charging the old man with multiple felonies was so severe that the local MSM stopped reporting on the story (circling the wagons for a closet anti-Second Amendment asshole), and the charges quietly went away after almost a year.

    Oh yeah, the one term Sheriff never did run for re-election, first time that ever happened in the entire 150 year history of the county.

    I guess the former Sheriff thought County Sheriffs are the same as big city Police Chiefs. :roll:

    We’re so pissed off at Arizona over illegal trash and so pissed off at the second amendment that we have to take it out on someones Grandpa who is defending himself and his property….Leftists are truly sick bastards.

    Note to anyone who lives in this county, form you own vigilante unit and bury the bodies, that is the only justice you will be getting.

    This has to stop. We have the God given right to protect our lives, liberty, and property. This DA is a first rate Asshat. They should be pinning a medal on this good citizen not charging him with multiple felonies. We need to make life very uncomfortable for these invaders. Maybe start burning houses……kill 2 birds with one stone…..the dirtbag homeowner that rents to the invader loses his rental and the invaders have to find a new place to live. After awhile nobody will rent to them for fear of having their house burned down. And if it continues?? Cut their heads off and put them on a pike outside of town. If a hundred heads were cut off I’ll bet 100,000 would go home. (calm down don’t get your pantys in a wad…history is full of heads on pikes…I didn’t think of it)

    Someone ought to give the DA and whoever “threw the book” at this guy a swift kick in the hindquarters on their way out of office at the next election or whatever it takes to get rid of them. Shame on them.

    The only positive is that no jury in the land would EVER convict this gentlman of anything. Like USMCTANKS said, they should give old dude a medal. And given the choice, I’m sure 90% of any jury would

    Fuck, law enforcement officers have been seriously injured by criminals using cars at low speed as weapons, so what the fuck is wrong when a citizen defends himself and his property?

    Obviously,fuckstick DA and the sheriff are too dumb to read the law.
    Or,like the present regime,refuses to abide by their oath to The Constitution.
    You are entitled to protect your family AND PROPERTY,BY THIS LAW,WITH LETHAL FORCE.
    Cases have alredy been tried here,whereas the homeowner shot a person THRU HIS PORCH DOOR,and was found innocent,under this law.
    The DA and Sheriff probably have deposits in their bank accounts from south of the border

      If those two were coming through the door or a window he would have been in the clear, but they were outside trying to steal his trailer when he shot at them. Unlike Alaska, Colorado doesn’t allow the use of deadly force to protect property. He couldn’t shoot at them if they had been in his garage, either, since court decisions have declared the ‘make my day law’ here only covers ‘living space’. Clearly he is being overcharged because they want him to plea bargain and not have to go to trial. He probably stands a very good chance of aquittal of all charges in front of a jury.
