Here is a novel suggestion, why don't we elect a common man or woman who is not independently wealthy, By doing this he or she will gather all the bills that abound, assess what is important and then discontinue that which is unnecessary. The common man knows that when the wallet or purse is empty you stop spending. They don't let you check out from FoodMart on credit. Screw those who gave away the farm when things were better. Hasn't anyone heard of responsible actions.
