Axelrod Says Colorado Results Prove Obama Voters Will Show Up In November

The Hill:

Sen. Michael Bennet’s win in Tuesday night’s Democratic Colorado primary is proof that supporters of President Obama will show up for the midterms, according to David Axelrod.

Axelrod, in an e-mail to The Hill, said that Bennet’s win over Andrew Romanoff “reflected our ability to rally 2008 Obama voters to participate in an off-year election — something that will be meaningful this fall.”

So-called Obama voters have been the subject of speculation surrounding November’s midterms, as Republicans enjoy a wide enthusiasm gap in most polls.

Organizing for America, Obama’s political arm at the Democratic National Committee, said Wednesday that it “successfully road-tested its Vote 2010 get out the vote effort” by working on the Obama-backed Bennet’s behalf.

While Tuesday’s election results were the best the White House has seen this year, Republicans were still claiming a sense of momentum on Wednesday.

But Axelrod said that predictions of a “wave” election are wrong, saying this will not be “a formulaic year.”

“And yesterday reflected that,” Axelrod said. “These will be decided on a race-by-race basis, depending on the candidates and campaigns, and not some wave.”

Axlerod also said that the Democratic Party has been “strengthened by a number of matchups that have emerged from the party.”

So a dildo endorsed by Obongo, wins over a shithead endorsed by Klintoon and that is described as a democratic victory? Ha HA!

    • vanglock

Yeah it’s a victory because no one has caught on the voter fraud yet…….

Wow, so one Dhimwit won over another Dwhimwit in a primary. What a revelation for these mental midgets. In reality, the blind hog theory; he was bound to find someone, somewhere where the voting base was stupid enough to choose one of his toadies. Let’s see how you do in November.

I live in Colorado. It is my understanding that more people voted for the loser (Jane Norton) in the GOP Senate Primary than voted for the Dhimicrap winner (Michael “rent a senator” Bennet) in the Dim primary. That is significant. Come on November 2nd. Colorado is going back where it belongs…Red.
Ken Buck for United States Senator!

what was the turnout as a % of registered voters vs. turnout of republican voters… that’s the only stat that matters axeldouche!!! get it right!

Basically since a Democrat won the Democrat Primary, things are looking good for Democrats?

The logic is astonishing. I don’t wonder why the economy is tanking and will continue to tank with that way of thinking. Hey, Democrats …

    YOU’RE FIRED!

What a dumb-ass! Then again, all liberals are just that … DUMB asses. Do you not know, Axelrod, that it was just a freaking primary between two equally inept Democrats?
