 I was in similar situation and cop gave me an escort to hospital.

big fat swaggering cop who can’t hear ANYTHING BUT HOW AWESOME HE IS…
AND THE CHIEF: ‘officers IN THIS DAY AND AGE have to take precautions…etc…”
this is the EXCUSE you hear over and over and over…
its part of the CONTINUAL CRISIS MODE we are being fed in order to get us to accept the unacceptable from government on all levels…

irst of all I could not see inside the vehicle from the rear. Secondly, if the medical crisis was that severe 911 was three buttons away and so was the local police to request an escort. I fault the driver for endangering the public with a passenger who was in a medical crisis and he took it upon himself to esscalate the situation.
Officer words were harsh, yes, but none of us saw the vehicle pursuit or what drew the officer’s attention, then why wasn’t the door opened and driver cooperative??
Are we this curious and righteously speaking truth to power when an officer is slaughtered because he or she hesitated because of department policy?
Most Americans don’t give a shit, and the AC:U does not care about the 45 percent spike in officer deaths under Eric Holder.
This country is getting the type of policing it deserves. Risk averse, service over enforcement, hesitant, fearful, beaten down and demoralized.
Good goddamn luck.

This is clearly a case of “Color of Law” violation where the officer abused his authority. U.S. law enforcement officers and other officials been given tremendous power by local, state, and federal government agencies, the authority they must have to enforce the law and ensure justice in our country. It is necessary to the health of our nation’s democracy. What this officer did was a federal crime for anyone acting under “color of law†willfully depriving or abusing a person of a right protected by the Constitution or U.S. law. “Color of law†simply means that the person is using authority given to him or her by a local, state, or federal government agency. This police officer lost his temper, was unprofessional and should have done jail time, but apparently the “good ol’ boy” network to which both he and his chief seem to belong to let him off with a resignation. The victim should initiate a civil law suit.
