Los Angeles Times:

A week after exiting court-ordered rehab, Lindsay Lohan said she’s put her legal problems behind her and wants to start acting in movies again.

“I want my career back,” she told Vanity Fair magazine. “I want the respect that I had when I was doing great movies. And if that takes not going out to a club at night, then so be it. It’s not fun anyway.”

Lohan, who spent 13 days at a Lynwood jail for violating her parole on a drunk driving case, told the magazine she’s learned she needs to stop surrounding herself with people who lure her into trouble.

“So many people around me would say they cared for the wrong reasons,” she told the magazine. “A lot of people were pulling from me, taking from me and not giving. I had a lot of people that were there for me for, you know, the party.”

Lohan continues to undergo intense therapy and counseling since her release from the UCLA rehab facility. She is on supervised probation in connection with her 2007 driving under the influence conviction. She must take random drug tests twice weekly. If she misses a test or gets a positive result, she would face 30 days in jail.

Sources at the Lynwood jail told The Times they were impressed by Lohan’s efforts to get better. “She followed directions. Sometimes inmates arriving under her circumstances find it hard to get what needs to be done,” one source said.

I don’t care much for Lindsay, this article, her life, or her career, but that’s a good picture. Did Pat pick this?
