BTW, Federal spending on HIV/AIDS treatment and funding was 24.1 billion last year; cancer = 4.81 billion.
So, a disease which is almost completely avoidable and strikes 50,000 a year gets 6 times the amount of funding for a disease that strikes millions and is almost completely unavoidable.
