Jimmy Carter: Fox Has “Deliberately Distorted The News”

Jimmy Carter said Sunday that Fox News commentators including Glenn Beck have “deliberately distorted” the news.

Speaking on CNN’s “Reliable Sources” Sunday, the former Democratic president took aim at the cable news channel climate, often a target for President Obama as well who says he tries to avoid the cable chatter.

“The talk shows with Glenn Beck and others on Fox News, I think, have deliberately distorted the news. And it’s become highly competitive,” Carter said. “And my Republican friends say that MSNBC might be just as biased on the other side in supporting the Democratic Party, the liberal element.”

The ex-president said opinions about the two channels was “part of give and take” in politics in the United States. Carter also believes CNN has suffered from trying to remain nonpartisan in comparison to Fox and MSNBC.

“And I think CNN, more than others, has kind of tried to play the middle to their detriment as far as viewership is concerned and profits are concerned,” Carter said.

Carter spoke about his relationship with the press during his one term in the White House. He said he was treated unfairly by reporters while president but Carter also blamed himself, saying he could have reached out more to the press.

“Yes, I think I should have had a much more assiduous desire when I got into the White House to court the friendly relationship and a compatible and mutually trustworthy relationship with the key members of the press corps,” Carter said. “There’s no doubt about that.”

Know what is laughable? The democrats and their cultured and impeccably dressed purveyors of questioning everything American and decent and honorable have themselves had largely a stranglehold of the American heart through media programming for decades. Hollywood has been ideologically compromised for decades because it is the only way they cann effect Washington by programming the viter and the will of the people.

Carter was forced out of the U.S. Navy cos he had reached his lifetime radiation exposure limit.

Which begs this question, “how does a 1st Lt. whose a nuclear physicist, whose been in the nuclear Navy long enough to have a cup of coffee reach their lifetime limit of exposure to radiation and there’s zero MSM reporting about it at the time?”

Answer; a laboratory accident.

Carter was discharged (forced), out of the Navy approximately 90 days after his father dropped dead of a heart attack, which is about the same amount of time it takes to discharge someone whose been fired/forced out of the service (for whatever reason).

Which begs this question; “did the news of Carter being irradiated in a lab accident trigger his dad’s fatal heart attack?”

I don’t know.

But Jimmy Carter sure as hell knows and he needs to come clean about his life story before he starts/continues criticizing anyone, about anything.

Imagine the difference in the world today, if the internet of today existed in the Summer of 1976.
