Kids know that Cell Phone cameras are better for sexting.
I am more concerned that these CNN people are only now just being made aware that:
1. Children know about sex
2. Children could be in child porn.
Within this ‘Don’t ask Don’t tell’ mentality where it comes to children and their bodies and hormones are the dark corners where predators can lurk.
Adults (actually older adolescents, meaning those who might appear to be forty but have the maturity of an average adolescent) need to be aware that children are NOT biohazzardous waste products of sex and require our attention.
Barbie Cam isn’t even the tip on the tip of the iceberg…

I remember a series of Polaroids of a girl pretending to give birth to her Barbie doll. She was seven, if I remember (in the 1970s). This was in a book on child development.
Maybe we all need to grow up and stop acting surprised and stunned that children have, dare I say it, genitals.
Adults need to be involved in all aspects of their children’s lives. It is the unattended, unparented, unsupervised, alone child that is the problem, not Barbie’s Boob Cam.

We adults seem to be consistently surprised and shocked about any subject that even appears to put the word ‘sex’ and ‘children’ together in the same paragraph and while we pretend to be ‘shocked’ and stunned, reality hits us all between the eyes.
The issue here should not be whether or not a ‘Barbie’ can be used to create child porn. The issue should be ‘Are we, as adults, properly and correctly supervising children, being role models?
Worrying about Barbie Cam being used to create Child Porn is running around looking for the keys to lock the barn door after all the animals have left and the barn is in the process of burning down.
In the late 1980s a sixth grade girl gave birth while in class. Apparently she thought her weight gain had something to do with poor eating habits.
Her mother admitted that she had not told her daughter about sex as a method to prevent her from having sex. Apparently that didn’t work.
Our priorities are all screwed up.
