      Why should John McCain sit down and shut up??? He is talking the absolute right message, he is a voice of experience and he is the one responsible for unleashing Sarah Palin on the country.

      There were a lot of factors in 2008 that had nothing to do with McCain — the financial crisis, the economic downturn, the press adulation of Obama, the 7 to 1 Obama money advantage — and that made 2008 a Democrat year. You forget that all other Republicans polled far worse than McCain.

      McCain could have done a *lot* more to expose Obama as a fraud. It felt like he thought he had some ace in the hole, but ended up just standing there empty-handed and looking stupid – a patsy.

    What Lone Wolf said. Add to the fact that he tried to help Bush and Lindsey Graham push through the immigration bill in 2007 then, when running for re-election, decided he was anti-illegal immigrant during the Republican primary. Screw him.

    And his campaign was absolutely pathetic. He looked like Jimmy Carter dealing with Iran.

    He is saying and doing the right thing now. I still don’t trust him on amnesty, but we will find out soon how that will all work out.
