SAFE Scout Today – No Updates Till Late Afternoon/Evening – Updated In The Comments Section, Full Scout Post Up Later Today, Thursday

Out on the field today on a SAFE mission.

We are scouting a territory north of the Tohono O’odham Nation reservation which sits west of Nogales. The southern border of the reservation accounts for over a third of the entire Arizona/Mexico border and the entire reservation is the same size as the state of Connecticut, and given that the territory is not under U.S. jurisdiction, we are a great degree at the mercy of the Indian government as to how they handle the cartels and illegal immigrants who would like to use this huge swath of land for their own purposes. It’s quite a vulnerability.

We’re looking to expand SAFE‘s operations and open a couple of new areas of operations around the reservation. This serves as an early scout in this process. An initial night scout provided incontrovertible evidence that illegal aliens are indeed using the reservation to cross into the United States.

As a result of this scout, I will not have any updates until later today. I will also likely be publishing a report about what we find today.

Early initial report: I’m fucking sore.

      More to follow, with photos.

Glad to hear you made it back safe!

Yeah, it was good. It’s gonna take a little bit, gotta collect different photos from folks, write it up.

And the hill-humping certainly didn’t do me any disfavors. I’m quite pleased, this is a critical new Area of Operations, and we got it busted wide open, and with the necessary elements of the core of a potential new team. Brought our first new volunteer in from Cali.
