    Native of CA…family had been there since 1892. We sold EVERYTHING in 2002 at the highest real estate prices. Moved to Tennessee, and have never regretted a moment.

    I left CA in 2005. It’s painfully sad to see a good land destroyed by absolute nutcases. I went back for a visit in 2008 and it was bad, killed me to see that place the way it had degenerated in just three years.

      AMEN…went back in 2010 for the first time since moving. It was of course much worse than when I left. I am going again this May for a quick 30 day money making trip…..but that is all.

      No desire to do anything else there….very sad.

    You would not believe the rules and regulations we put up with in Monterey County. CA was a GREAT place to live for the first 25 of my 53 years, but it was overrun by ignorant, dictatorial, controlling liberal bureaucrats and thousands of illegal aliens. Many public parks look like 3rd world camps. They destroy everything they touch.

    It deserves it’s current reputation of the land of fruits and nuts……and that is very sad.

A fish eats when its hungry and shits when it has to, and wiggles its tail when it need to get from A to B thats what a fish knows.
