Romney Edges Closer To Announcement

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney is moving closer to another run for the White House, saying on Wednesday night that he is “looking at dates” to announce a decision.

“We’re looking at different dates for making that decision,” he told Sean Hannity on Fox News.

It’s widely assumed that Romney will make another bid for the presidency and he has led the potential GOP field in early polls.

“We’re doing what we need to to keep in the public eye,” he said Wedneday.

Romney said he and other potential candidates are “all doing the things we need to do to keep the option open.”

The former Massachusetts governor also previewed his message against those other candidates.

“I do believe that it would be helpful if at least one of the people who’s running in the Republican field have experience in the private sector; in small business, in big business working with the economy,” he said.

He couldn’t beat a weak candidate like McCain in 2008. It’s his money. He can spend it on a fool’s errand if he wants.

He won’t win the GOP nomination but he may wind up as a cabinet pick for the winner.

LOL Wow, everyone pulling for Romney just cuz he might announce. May I remind you that he’s little better, if at all? Anyone remember RomneyCare, which was the foundation for ObamaCare? The man’s a RINO, and you guys are willing to pull another McCain as part of an “anyone but Obama” mentality.

Personally, of the candidates NOW who are running or looking to run, I’m pulling for Herman Cain, but there’s still time for others to enter, which could affect my decision. Because I’m interested in getting the RIGHT PERSON FOR THE JOB, not just dumping the old guy.
