Globe Magazine again is breaking a story the lame brains in our so called media will not touch. “Michelle and the President are absolutely insulted,” reports the GLOBE, quoting its insider source.

While other worldwide heads of state are invited, the Obamas have been excluded from the Royal nuptials, ostensibly because the affair is not a state occasion. But the GLOBE goes on to suggest the reason is because Michelle could upstage his bride or that she dissed the memory of Princess Diana by uttering rather catty remarks totally unappreciated across the pond.

Now other reasons for the Obamas non invitation include: “Queen Elizabeth vehemently disapproves of the President’s pushy wife” who has a habit of making ostentatious shows of wealth and position overseas. Some sort of rather embarrassing kerfuffle is alleged to have happened when Michelle had her Cleopatra moment in the sun at the court of Spain’s King Juan Carlos last August at great expense to America’s suffering taxpayers. “The Queen’s a frugal woman who believes it’s tasteless to flaunt wealth and position when ordinary folks are suffering from the recession,” says the GLOBE.

I can think of another reason why the Obamas will not be going to the Prince William nuptials. My mother was born in England, so I like to think I know the British character.

It’s hard for me to see a bigger insult to the British people, than Obama’s returning THE BUST OF WINSTON CHURCHILL. Mother’s English heritage would be on display if I even hinted at showing disrespect to people who honored us. Mother and Dad sat at the kitchen table during World War II to go over our war ration coupons for new shoes or foodstuffs we could buy to mail to our relatives in England. They returned the favor by mailing us their lovely linens and other treasured pieces. We read with pride about Winston Churchill and how he kept that island together; how his British pluck, determination, and sheer strength of will stood up to Hitler and told the cruel man “England will never surrender.”

As a young woman during the War Queen Elizabeth was an ambulance driver. “Britain wants President Obama to put a bronze bust of Sir Winston Churchill back in the Oval Office, where it stood for the past eight years as a symbol of an enduring special relationship with America,” says reporter Tom Baldwin for the TIMES ONLINE. Another British paper alludes to the possibility that Barack Obama may still have his dander up about the repression of a Kenyan Mau Mau rebellion in which his grandfather Hussein Onyango Obama allegedly may have been tortured. Whatever the reason was, when President Obama returned Churchill’s bronze bust, he sent a chill through the Royal court and I believe that is the real reason he and Michelle weren’t invited to the wedding of the century!
