This is utterly ridiculous and another blatant power grab through regulation bypassing congress and the American people.

When does it end? When does someone with some juevos stand up to this thugocracy? When do the supposed patriots in our government grab a pair and stand up? There will come a day when the American people will ask you, “Did you do everything in your power to stop this hijacking?”

I even tried to call Dan Pfeiffer at the White House and was told by some snot nosed flunky that he is NEVER available by phone…you have to go through a ‘comment line’ to leave a message….when I inquired further,the snot nosed punk told me that NO White House staffer can EVER be reached directly by phone…comment line ONLY…I NEVER had this problem with the Bush people..I had direct line numbers for anyone I wanted to talk to…never abused that,but I always knew I could get through directly if I needed to…so this ‘comment line’ crap is merely another layer of insulation to keep Obozo’s flunkies from having to deal directly with the public

Obama is on record saying he wants to shut down the coal industry so we can all play with windmills and solar rocks. How America will continue to be a world power and lead in innovations is not a concern for Obama.

Obama was very upfront about wanting energy prices to “skyrocket” to push his greenie stone ages agenda. Obama supporters like GE, Soros, and Al Gore will make billions while we regular folks suffer from lack of jobs and inadequate energy supply.

Voters deserve the government they choose. Next time, voters need to research what a candidate actually stands for instead of casting a hopey feel good PC vote. ‘

The “Eight Stages of A Democracy”…Hmmm.

Sorry about the length, but if you haven’t heard of the theory, it’s something to ponder and ask your self where YOU think we are…

These eight steps were written in 1787 by Professor Alexander Tyler. The United States was in the planning process of a young and fragile Democracy. So, this Professor took a look at the past and tried to map out the evolution of a Democracy. He determined a time line for these eight steps and an estimate of how long the process would take, 200 years.

His thoughts are rather amazing when compared to the current state of democracy in the US. I believe we are in the apathy to dependence stage. Listen to the presidential candidates speak of what you are due from government, what you are entitled to. Is this what you really want, dependence?

A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship.

The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations from the beginning of history has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:

* From bondage to spiritual faith;
* From spiritual faith to great courage;
* From courage to liberty;
* From liberty to abundance;
* From abundance to complacency;
* From complacency to apathy;
* From apathy to dependence;
* From dependence back into bondage.
