Advertisers Flee Wonkette After Disgusting Birthday Attack On Trig Palin

Advertisers are starting to flee left wing site Wonkette.com after a disgusting post this morning that mocked Sarah Palin’s disabled son, Trig. Huggies, Papa John’s Pizza and Vanguard have pulled their ads from Wonkette’s website.

What has become of today’s liberalism that makes it acceptable to attack the mentally handicapped if they or their parents are conservatives?

Consider the following disgraceful posting about Trig Palin published at the left-leaning website Wonkette Monday:
That strange man yelling unintelligibly at Sarah Palin? He’s merely a lowly shepherd proclaiming the birth of our savior. Today is the day we come together to celebrate the snowbilly grifter’s magical journey from Texas to Alaska to deliver to the America the great gentleman scholar Trig Palin. Is Palin his true mother? Or was Bristol? (And why is it that nobody questions who the father is? Because, either way, Todd definitely did it.) It doesn’t matter. What matters is that we are privileged to live in a time when we can witness the greatest prop in world political history. [...]

His mom went to a lot of trouble to leak amniotic fluid over 8 states to make sure that he arrived in this world somewhat alive,” writes Wonkette operative “Barbara_i,” reminding us of the occasion. “Sarah went to a whole lot of trouble to name him ‘Van Palin,’ a ‘Van Halen’ reference he will never get.” Indeed.

Enjoy yourself today, Trig. Have fun! Get drunk (on purpose this time)! We can hardly wait for 15 years from now, when you will finally be able to vote and will be sent off by your mother’s junta to fight the Union in the Great Alaska War. It’ll be quite a loss. You’re the smartest one in that family.

What has happened in our society where something like this is considered acceptable political commentary?

    The power of people and their pocketbook! Attacks on Sarah are fair game but to go after her baby with Downs Syndrome like that – Hell no!

    The most effective to stop this hate from the Left is to expose and hit them back where it hurts – their sponsors. If any of us have time, a good idea would be to contact the sponsors and let know what type of sick, twisted freaks they are supporting. The Left has gotten away with this crap for too long.

    I went over to wonkette. They scrubbed the comments. Someone put a link to a google user content page. The comments were there and they’re worse than the post.
    Example:
    If her nasty old birdbath hasn’t yet dried up like a Tootsie Roll in the desert, she still has time to poop out Lobster Claw, Pinhead, and No-nose. By the time Trig is 30 and no longer looks cute in diapers, she’ll have a plentiful backup supply of anti-choice snowflake prop babbys.

      Not surprised. I read these Palin Derange Syndrome hater’s posts on blogs, news article comment sections, Yahoo, Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook.

      Some are just hateful basement-dwelling troll loons and I believe others are paid by OFA and other agitprop orgs to spew hate directed at Palin and her family.

      The Left, DNC, SEIU, OFA, & Obama fear this woman. They join with the liberal MSM flunkies to try and turn the public against her. Even people I love who are close to me buy in to the Palin hate. I just tell them they are wrong and that the truth will come out and change their minds. Alinsky and propaganda tactics is what this is.

    My God ! How could a group of pure evil even FIND sponsors ? This goes beyond understanding, saying this about a small child. Any child, special needs or not. The fear and loathing that did this is going to pay a high price when the Dark One comes for their rotten soul !
