    I’m all for it with one caveat it must also apply to all state employees, elected or otherwise, if the state pays for your health care and you are a fat slob you pay the state fat tax, no exceptions. I’m for lean state government! Let the union fatties come to Arizona and argue for fat government workers rights… :roll:

    That is so wrong. Poor people do not have the income to purchase fresh foods. Cheap food is the pre-packaged junk crap. They don’t have the money to go to a nutritionist to get the help and guidance they need to make the changes. Aside from that the number one reason fat people are fat is due to depression, they use food as a form of self-medication because they have miserable lives :roll: . Either make it an across the board policy for everyone or don’t do it. Besides even if they do have the $50 for the fine it isn’t going to stop them from eating and still being fat. Stick to border issues lady. :roll:

      You’re wrong. It’s much cheaper to buy fresh and make meals as opposed to buying prepackaged junk food. It’s when I’m broke I buy the fresh stuff, because it’s cheaper.
      And junk food doesn’t make you fat. I live off fast food, love the stuff. I’m still 6’2″ and 175lbs. The guy who’s eaten 25,000 Big Macs would probably agree with me.
      I agree it should be an across the board fine for anyone using state funded health care but don’t try to make excuses for fat people.

    a GOVT PAID food shopper buys my fun, friend who is seriously disabbled, JUNK FOOD. the govt paid shopper, should be FINED. FRESH FOOD is so much better and you can get a ton of it in the produce dept. comparied to worthless, $5. per package, JUNK FOOD. also, the welfare office should be pushing GARDENS when ever possible! HEALTHY food, NO poison pesticides! if each welfare office hired some good guy to plow in GARDENS for EVERYONE who has a little cube of land for a garden, what a GOOD DEAL that would BE. work that FAT off! glutony is a SIN.

    what really erks me is to see welfare people puffing away, WASTING a fortune on smokes & beers, but “need” money for milk for the baby! if they can scrape up $65 for a carton of cigs on a REGULAR basis, they can scrape up “milk” for the baby!!!!!!!!!!!! smokers who work for the govt. or collect from the govt. should be DOCKED off the “pay” for what ever they WASTE on smokes, beer, junk food. LIVE HEALTHY….or don’t stick the rest of the people with paying for BAD HABITS.
