Blogger: Ron Paul And Libertarians, Not Medicare, Cost The GOP The New York Election, As Usual

May 26th, 2011 (21) Posted By Pat Dollard.

Political Ponderings:

When of late the smell of divisiveness and vote splitting wafts through the Republican Party, it’s not difficult to follow the funk back to Ron Paul, his supporters and their respective Tea Parties, or the Libertarian “GOP transformers,” in general. And, if/when tonight (R) Jane Corwin loses in the NY-26 special election, the GOP has the Democrats’ most useful tools, the Libertarians, to thank for it. Their support for Republican turned Democrat, turned fake “Tea Party” candidate, Jack Davis, is siphoning off from Corwin a double digit percentage. Steve Greenberg, director of the Siena Poll which has conducted [New York-26] district surveys, says Davis’ candidacy has improved Democrats’ chances of taking the seat. And, all Jack Davis needed to do was take a page from the Ron Paul playbook – call himself “Tea Party” and seek the support of Ron Paul’s friends. After all, it worked for Rand. Not unexpectedly, the Daily Paul has served as an effective collusive conduit. (Check out the author’s name – Tony M – more on him below) What is it about Democrat Jack Davis that inspires Ron Paul supporters? Jack Davis, they say, isn’t “GOP establishment.” Good enough. And, then there is this: “‘I like Ron Paul,’” Davis says of the Texas Republican, who [like Davis] also opposes negotiated free trade agreements like NAFTA. “‘He’s my kind of guy.’” In Ron Paul supporters’ world that translates to: He’s the “one.”

But, make no mistake, Jack Davis’ support is not coming from true Republicans. It is coming from the GOP infiltrators – Ron Paul Libertarians and their Tea Partiers who often self-identify as Republicans for “electoral success,” but who also seek to “Obamacize” er, “change” the GOP. Support for Davis also comes from so called “Independents,” who may as well be referred to as Democrats that also occasionally cast a protest vote for the Republican candidate. And, although they often recognize they’re wasting said vote, they will cast it for “the other candidate” just to “send a message.” This Independent “protest” vote and/or vote abstention only results in the election of Democrats. But, Independents aren’t worried about that, as they malleably straddle the middle, anyway. Comme Ci, Comme Ça.
On the other hand, Ron Paul, his supporters, and those libertarians seeking to “reshape” the GOP, find purpose in their willful and intentional election spoiler status. It’s all part of the “attempted coup” process, and a badge of honor.

Today’s American Revolution is a war on information.
They want to divide and conquer.

The blimp pic above is the perfect metaphor for Ron Paul’s campaign. Paul will implode like the Hindenburg and come crashing back to earth IMO.

Constitutionally, legislatively, and morally, Ron Paul has no equal. His 22 year voting record speaks for itself.
Mr. Paul has not survived in politics for 22 years and maintain the ethics and morality he has by being anything other than stellar.
If You refute the above comment, then I please invite You to listen to him speak about key issues. It is amazing how well he comes across because he doesn’t have to remember lies like other politicians. He understands what is happening in the world and knows how to apply the basic principles of liberty to achieve the real change that America so desperately deserves.
American to American we are all on the same team. So I present Mr. Ron Paul as my Candidate for 2011 and invite anybody to meaningfully and respectfully debate why he is not the best for American and its people in 2012.
Ron Paul = A real change, not for special interest, but for America’s Interests!
    Thank You for Your time

FUCK RON PAUL. IF HE IS STANDING IN FRONT OF ME, I WILL SPIT IN HIS FACE AND ANY OF HIS FOLLOWERS.

      HE IS EVIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do agree with a lot of what Ron Paul stands for. My fear is he doesn’t have the backing he needs and will run as an Independent. Then obama will win. Just like clinton & Perot, back in the ’90′s.
We need someone who will stand beside Israel. They are one of the front lines on the War on Terror. From what I understand about Paul, he would throw them under the bus.
Paul has a lot of supporters, but he just hasn’t caught the majority’s attention.

please tell me what makes that vagina doctor and career politician an ‘economic’ or ‘Constitutional’ expert – you are entirely obligated to quantify and qualify your claims in an objective tangible argument, point by point.

Then, please explain Ron Paul drafting over 3 dozen pork-spending bills for his district which he attaches to critical spending bills, such as veteran compensation (which completely dismissing his core platform), then proceeding to vote against his own bill in order to continue to permeate his fraudulent facade of being fiscally responsible and ‘anti pork spending’, and THEN gladly receiving monies from said pork-bills after they are approved – bills that he created and voted against.

Then explain his proposition to use taxpayer money to cast solid gold medallions for EVERY SINGLE VETERAN OF EVERY SINGLE BRANCH who served at ANY TIME during the ENTIRE Cold War…conveniently proposing this after he placed a major investment in gold.

    • Tyler

oh, and also explain his desire to allow foreign international laws to trump US law regarding the War on Terror.

    • Lock and Load

Uh, George, I have listened to him speak about key issues, and he certainly does NOT understand what is happening in the world   His isolationist policies are naive and dangerous  If a country does not protect its interests around the world and maintain a presence, it will be seen as weak and open to attack. Perhaps Paul forgets the blackhawk down incident in Somalia, where the US withdrawal emboldened Bin Laden and his jihadi scum to ramp up terrorism against America. Paul is an idealist, who tries to mix the worst of the anti-war left with libertarian principles… not my kind of republican :???:

    • Tyler

Lock&Load: don’t forget about our isolationist policies that ‘somehow’ managed to result in the bombardment of Pearl Harbor

    • Lock and Load

      Tyler
Yup, apparently that is where Paul wants us to go, back to plugging our ears, closing our eyes and going “nah, nah, nah…” until we are being attacked   Most of the Paul followers I have seen are too young to remember or be really affected by Pearl Harbour, so he just pulls the wool over their sheeple eyes… :???:

First, RuPaul is a nutburger. Can’t stand him.

But, the references to Pearl Harbor are misplaced. The fact is, FDR and his cronies intentionally withheld intelligence about the impending attack from the military commanders in order to draw the United States further into the war. The U.S. should have been involved already, and was to a certain extent, but the so-called “isolationist” (a term coined by our enemies) sentiment in the country was so strong, drastic measures were deemed necessary by the internationalist cadre in the White House. This is not a theory. It has been well-documented over the years. Day of Deceit by R. Stinnett is probably the best work available on the subject.

      Delta
OK, I’ll buy that take, but in your own explanation you mention “the so-called “isolationist” (a term coined by our enemies) sentiment in the country was so strong, drastic measures were deemed necessary by the internationalist cadre in the White House.” …. you are making my point :!: The mentality was isolationist, so much so that the White House felt it necessary to deceive America just to smack them out of their stupor…. I feel that this is the same isolationist stupor that Ron Paul will induce with his dangerous foreign policy  :???:

    • Delta (Federalist Republican)

There’s a little more to it than that but no need to write a book on it here. Really my point was just that it doesn’t make sense to have the administration in effect allow an attack and then point to it as evidence against an isolationist stance. They did that shit to coerce the American people into going along with their ultimately anti-American schemes. Most people back then weren’t necessarily “isolationist” or “anti-war”, they just wanted to put American interests before anything else, especially a bunch of treasonous one-world bullshit.

Somewhere, I know that Ron Paul is quoted as saying that WWII was a European problem, but said he would have fought Japan only and not Nazi Germany since they did not attack US and that Roosevelt was too interfering in Pre-war Europe. I know he said it!

Ron Paul has said in public statements that he does not believe that Israel should exist. He is as anti-Jewish as Obama.

It goes beyond is ‘isolationist’ comments regarding no Israel since he has stated he is pro-Pallie.

The only thing of him worthy of any thought is that he hates the Fed and wants to remove foreign banking in US (but that goes along with his Jewish-conspiracy on more crap he says)

Ron Paul is dangerous to America.
