The cemetery I visit each year did a terrible job. I don’t know what happened, the Boy Scouts usually do it, but this year more than half the military markers didn’t have a flag. Maybe they didn’t have money to buy the flags this year, dunno, but it was upsetting to see. Normally the cemetery is a sea of flags on Memorial Day. What was really tacky is the cemetery had a sales tent out giving away free chances to win a garden bench and discounts on buying plots.
